Anker Prime Wireless Car Charger (MagGo, AirCool, Pad)

I'm returning the Anker cold charger because I don't think it's cold enough for the price. It's great quality like other Anker chargers, but for the price, it just feels like a normal charger with a magnet.

I got this to change a Google pixel pro XL and it's very slow so not suitable for this phone I reckon

Gets extremely hot and very slow to change.
Didn’t fit my car as it sticks out to far and gets in the way of the indicator stalk.
Had to pay the cost of returning it.

Excellent charger & mount. Does what it says on the box. Very easy to fit & set up. Feels solid & doesn't move. High-quality design and general feel - as typical for Anker products, which for me makes paying a few extra £ worthwhile. Feel durable, and the 'Magsafe' magnet is strong. The built-in 'active cooling' is great feature for use during longer journeys & heavy usage - I've not noticed by phone getting too hot & can't hear the fan at all. The included accessories for connecting the charger to your car are of equal quality. Nice to have options of USB-C and older-style USB (although I'd always recommend the former as it does everything faster).

I have made a number of purchases with Anker. The products have always been excellent and arrived without issue.
This time the item has been returned to sender twice despite repeatedly confirming the correct address. The third attempt has been delivered who knows where, they have sent a picture of a headless woman in slippers in a house somewhere to prove that it was delivered to my boxing gym.
Currently I have no item and they are refusing to issue a refund so I’ll now have hassle sorting this out.

A sturdy, well made, good quality material product, i does the job that it is made to do.

Does what it says on the packet nothing much to add, I use a Samsung phone, make sure you have a case with a circle to certify you are mag compatible.

I've been looking for a Magsafe style charger for an Android with a Magsafe case - and this is the best I've tried so far.

It's really designed for horizontal vents, and the Volvo XC60 vertical vents and the design of these mean that when the charger is turned 90 degrees and tightened, these fins move to the right and the airflow cannot be redirected.

However the unit is stable, and removing and adding the phone is simple and while the unit wobbles a bit, it's still secure.

I'll have to turn off the vent in winter but it's charging well and looks neat and tidy on the dash - although the access to the console stork is very slightly restricted, it's only the Odometer reset button.

Due to the lack of vent options on the XC60, I can only use it portrait style, but I use wireless Android Auto, so this is not an issue. It may be if you want to use it horizontally.

Just got this a few days ago. At first it’s very well built and holds my iPhone 16 pro quite sturdy. I have another car charger which also has a cooling fan but driving over bumpy roads, it would wobble quite a bit.
With this car charger, no such issues. Fan is very quiet but lets see how long it stays quiet before it starts making a noise like the one I had which makes a grinding noise when charging my phone but after a minute or so it goes away.
Only other thing that bothers me about this charger is that you cannot use any other attachment to secure it in your air vents.

Other than that it’s a very well made charger.
