This is a slimline, well made and solid hub which does exactly what is required. It feels very well made and has all of the connections needed to work with your USB-C port.I'm using 2 USB ports, 1 Ethernet connection and an additional monitor with HDMI and they work seamlessly.Highly recommended.
Have tested/used on a variety of PCs and Macs, mostly using ethernet and USB but have tested HDMI (4K@30Hz) and this works exactly as advertised/expected also. The unit does get ever so slightly warm in use but certainly not enough to concern me, indeed it does state that it may reach 122°F (50°C) under load on a somewhat hard to read label on the unit itself, but for my use case I dont think it has been anywhere near this temperature.Very happy with purchase.
Would recommend this over a cheaper brand, we had a cheaper one that kept disconnecting or not connecting at all. Since buying the Anker adaptor I have had no issues, so its worth paying a little extra for the brand. I use it for USB-C, HDMI and Ethernet.
Bought for my son's new laptop, which has limited connectivity and doesn't have an Ethernet connection. We tested the various connections provided by this adaptor and it worked well, but unless there is a need to connect several different non-WiFi devices at once, it's largely redundant in an area where there is reliable Wi-Fi.If required it does enable a laptop to be used like a PC by using a wired keyboard, mouse and large external screen, which I would find very useful, but my son doesn't as he's happy to put up with a small screen, laptop keyboard and touch pad.
Perfect for my 2023 14" MBP without being too bulky!
Simple, smart and does the job.
Compact, well designed unit.
This is small and neat , just what i needed to connect my surface pro to a large monitor ,keyboard and the ethernet when i don't want to use it as a tablet.
Nice and solid. Not too hot in use. Exactly as expected - thank you Anker.
Love this thing, Ethernet port, 3 USB-B and HDMI, perfect answer
It works a treat, give you flexibility and is a great size for mobile working.
It's worth the extra money. I wasted money on cheaper alternatives, but mostly the USB-C plug is rubbish and looses connection if you even touch it. This Anker is fine, robust, well made and keeps connection when you nudge it.
Having reviewed a few of these devices - wasn’t sure if I should pay the premium for Dell’s own device or go with a 3rd party option. (This is for a Dell XPS 13 and / or MacBook Air)
Works perfectly with both. No sign of overheating. Great build quality. Very competitive pricing.
Bought this for my MacBook and it works great!! Even better it’s less than half the price of similar products. Would definitely buy and recommend.
