Work perfectly with my MacBook Pro M5, that "fried" other docking stations due to the picky power control.

The advert and description says that this does not support Linux. I am using this with Fedora (KDE) Linux and it works beautifully though so compatibility wise, I've not had an issue. I have an HP Zbook pro with AMD 395+ and it keeps the battery charged and works with the 2 HDMI monitors I have plugged in at 1920 * 1080, 60 hz.If, like me, a recent KDE update broke Display Link support, I can confirm this does not use DisplayLink. It uses Alt Mode so as long as your laptop supports that, you're golden (this is why I think it does infact work with Linux). It's as easy as you can get to use - just plug and play, no drivers to worry about. It's kind of heavy for it's size but very well made. It's warm during use though - which is what I suppose comes of effectively putting the power brick inside! It's far, far better than my previous Kensington dock. My only minor grip is that I was hoping the button on top would power the laptop on and off (I close the lid while docked), like the official HP ones do, but alas, it just cycles the display on the front of the unit.

I bought this Dock for my laptop and Mac which I link unto my 49" curved display. and in general it it a slick neat well thought design and practical.
With my windows laptop works perfectly fine, its amazing cannot fault it. HOWEVER with my Mac it does does not like the 32:9 aspect via HDMI, so had to buy a HDMI > DP lead.
But like I have said it is very much worth the money you pay for this good bit of kit
The product is great. Does exactly what I need. Not too impressed with the packaging though. Sent by Evri in bubblewrap and has clearly been bounced around in the car. Packaging ripped. It doesn’t seem to have damaged the Dock thankfully.
This is the size of a chunky paperback and is a reassuringly heavy. I use it to connect an M3 MacBook Air to an external monitor and a variety of USB peripherals (webcam, microphone/speaker, back up disc, external disk, label printer etc). I also have variety of charging cables attached and still seem to have slots free. It's no replacement for a "USB-stick" style hub if you want something that you can slip in your bag, but as a piece of home office equipment, the build quality feels excellent. Though I've only had it for a couple of months it has been completely reliable. It sits under my desk and I can't hear it.If you want a hub that allows you to connect multiple external monitors or which will support an 8K monitor, or you don't want to pay for charging ports because you already have a charger, this is not the hub for you.
I have this as a dock for my work laptop. I have 2 1440p monitors running as well as my laptop and I’ve had no issues. Super fast charging. And very nice design. Very happy with this dock.

I’ve had a couple of accessories before that were made by this manufacturer, Anker, and always found them to work flawlessly, so I was pleased to be able to order this docking station. The first thing I noticed was the weight, which is always a good start in my experience – I suspect that this is due to the power supply, being able to deliver 180 watts, but the other features are not lacking either. The USB ports on the front give quick access for connecting external storage, which I always feel is well thought out instead of trying to locate them round the back. In the back are the dual HDMI slots, which for my work setup (2 x 1080p monitors) is more than enough for me, and has the monitors give a flicker-free and continuous connection.I always like to keep my WFH setup for work tidy and this really suits this. The small power display at the front gives a live read of the current power drain and is useful if you have a few devices connected that are being charged – saves the guessing.

Really high quality dock that's simplified my desk charging game. The only slight negative that I'd point out for potential buyers is that the dock only has HDMI 2.0 support. This may be a bit limiting for some (Max of 4K @ 60Hz), but my monitor I've been running has been absolutely fine (1440p @ 60Hz).

Firstly for 95% of people this is a perfect docking station and very well priced. For those using a Super Ultra Wide (Samsung 47in or 57in monitor) it does everything BUT it can't support the 8k of the 57in Samsung. It passes through the audio, it outputs 4k, but it can't pass through 8k. Its not my Mac as I've ran it both from USB-C to DP on 8k and from the HDMI at 8k.At first I was worried about not having enough ports or that the data could have also acted as charging ports, but there's more than enough. For the next version I'd like to see an increase in available watts, as the rear main port connected to my Mac is taking up 80w, which leaves 80w left, so the front charging is more than enough for a phone, etc... but when charging Anker portable batteries it runs slower than it could.Don't let it put you off, its a great docking station, fantastic for 99% of people and for me it solves 95% of my issues. I can only but recommend this as a docking station.

The small power display at the front gives a live read of the current power drain and is useful if you have a few devices connected that are being charged – saves the guessing.
