Good hub but doesn’t fit well with my iPad case

Technically and specification wise this is a good hub and functions well for my needs. My one quibble is that it doesn’t work well with the case I have on my iPad Pro M2. I have to partially manoeuvre the case off the iPad to allow the hub to fully connect to the USB-C port.

Versatile docking station

This Anker Nano docking station is a great compact bit of kit for my laptop setup. I use it in the office every day, and it’s been reliable on so far. Plugged straight into my laptop, hooked up my two monitors (one HDMI, one DisplayPort), and everything’s working without any issues. No lag, no flickering, just clean dual-screen working. I’ve got external hard drives connected too, one on the USB-C, another on a USB-A, and they read and write fast with no dropouts. Pass-through charging is brilliant as well. The detachable hub is handy. I pop it off the main block, put it in my bag, and take it on trips. I just plug the small hub into my laptop and I’ve still got extra ports, SD/TF card reader, HDMI, USB A + C and pass through charging. Saves carrying a big bulky dock when I’m on the move. Overall, It’s small, sits neatly on the desk, and doesn’t get hot or noisy. For the price and the features, it’s doing everything I need without any issues and a proper useful piece of kit.

Good mid-range dock but lacking on some features

Convenient and compact setup for a home or office desk—just plug in your laptop, and you’re all set! I’ve been using it this way for the past few weeks, juggling between my Windows work laptop and my MacBook Air M4 home device. It’s been working good, giving me access to all my attached devices with just one USB-C cable from the compact sized dock. On my MacBook and work laptop, the dock also doubles as a charger so no need to carry that around and less cables on the desk. It’s a shame USB-C transfer rates are capped at 10Gbps seeming most SSD drives these days are a minimum of 20Gbps and a max of 40Gbps, it of a regression in professional setup scenarios. MacOS is a tad tricky with this as its just USB-C standard and not Thunderbolt 4, so when using with multiple monitors they only display one screen rather than an extended desktop kind of environment, this is documented by Anker but compared to other similar all-in-one dock solutions at this price point is would have been wise to have Thunderbolt support. The detachable ‘sub-hub’ is a bit of a strange idea compared to other solutions but it actually adds more value and function especially on Apple devices whether ports are a rarity despite the premium price tag from the company. It has card readers, a power delivery port, USB-A, USB-C and HDMI. This is great for when you’re on the go or for use on working type vacations (or non-working ones). Possibly overkill for most people’s setups but for those in the market for a professional home or office workstation setup, even without Thunderbolt support its a good product to consider.

More than I need day to day

I use docking stations, as like many people, I no longer use a desktop computer and rely more on my iad and iphone for day to day use and for occasions where I need a desktop, I use my MacAir laptop which is partnered with a 27" monitor. Thankfully, this quality item offers all of the functionality which I require, albeit the multi-monitor function is more suited for use for PC's rather than Macs as for Macs it is not supported. No issue for me as I only have a need and space for 1 monitor. I have used Anker products for many years, over 40 in fact as I remember them producing quality, budget priced accessories for photographic equipment, which were very popular, particularly in Germany where I once lived. This item exudes quality and whilst it is very much intended for the desktop user, it also possesses a detachable portable micro hub which offers SD, micro tf, USB A and USB C ports for use on the road. This item looks like a sizeable piece of equipment in the marketing information and both it and the power supply are quite big. It does offer slightly more functions than the slimline unit it is replacing whilst I evaluate it and it is in that regard that I have entitled my review "out of my depth" - I don't really need the functions nor do I need the transfer rates it offers. My existing docking station is smaller, yet offers many of the main functions of this device, but takes up less space. To be absolutely honest, I feel that this item is more suited to a user who wants to connect more peripherals than I routinely connect to my laptop and therefore is more suited to a commercial user or someone who uses higher speed peripherals and wishes to benefit from the higher speed data transfers that this docking station offers. I do not have my device powered up all of the time to save power, but when it is on, I routinely have connected: +. A 27 inch monitor +. An external hard drive (storing images) and SSD drive (backup for items not stored in the cloud) +. A connection for my ethernet cable and LAN In terms of charging capability, I haven't compared charging times to my dedicated Apple charger, but it doesn't appear to be anything other than marginally slower at delivering power. In summary, a really powerful alternative for expanding the functionality of my latop computer. Sadly I think that this item is more powerful than what I will need, however, that does not detract from me awaridng it a 5 star rating on the basis of build quality alone. I can thoroughly recommend some of the more technical reviews posted on this item by other reviewers who obviously have a greater need than I and have expertedly described how to get the best out of this item.

Stylish and great quality

I have tried a few products from Anker and have always been impressed by the quality on offer and this docking station is no exception. The device as a whole feels solid and looks sleek and stylish with its vertical design. Something I have not seen in a docking station before is the detachable mini USB-C hub. In normal use this fits seamlessly into the docking station with a stylish blue light surround, but can be ejected to be used independently providing a smaller selection of just the most crucial ports. I do like the concept although a similar mini hub could be purchased rather inexpensively and I'm not a fan of the offset USB-C connector as it can put a twisting load on the laptop USB-C port that it won't be designed for. In terms of compatibility this is really for Windows only, like almost all driver free plug and play docking stations. You can plug a MacBook into it but this will be limited to a single display. All the other ports will still function though. All three display outputs support up to 4K@60Hz which is going to be more than adequate for most scenarios. Beyond the display outputs there is a good selection of ports with a 10Gbps USB-C port as well as 5Gbps USB-C/A ports on the front, with a couple of USB-A 2.0 ports on the rear for a mouse and keyboard where super high speed would be wasted. The included power supply is suitably powerful to charge my laptop through the single USB-C connection up to 100W. This is a great quality docking station with an interesting mini hub feature. The Anker brand does mean a slightly higher price tag, but it is still fair value given the quality and functionality on offer.

Comprehensive but somewhat bulky docking solution

A very comprehensively laid out docking station. Ports for every peripheral and all function via the USB-C connection to the computer at high speed. The detachable hub port is particularly useful because it allows you to simply take all your media you have plugged in with you without detaching cables or the whole hub. Very useful if you consciously want to transport media and dont want them mixed up with other cards etc. The build of the port is solid. It is made of predominantly plastic however so is fairly light weight. However, I would say the main hub itself is not portable unless you really HAVE to take it. The power brick is larger than most small USB hubs and what with a separate USB-C cable to connect to a computer there are a lot of cables to take into account. This hub is definitely meant for a workstation environment rather than for someone on the road. Anker have a good reputation for quality products and I do like it but there may be less pricy alternatives out there that would serve your purpose just as well. I can recommend this hub for its quality and unique detachable ports feature but can only give it 4 stars because of the size and cost factors.

Great quality dock with some very handy features

This has worked perfectly as a replacement for my Dell docking station that had broken. First impressions out of the box were excellent, it felt reassuringly heavy and is a nice solid and good quality piece of kit. It's useful to have the vertical format which takes up a much smaller footprint on my desk and makes the ports feel much more accessible than on my previous horizontal dock. It has all the ports I need; I have it connected to my Dell laptop using a usb-C cable into the back of the dock and I can simply plug in and unplug using that one cable as and when I need to use the laptop with my monitor set up. Additionally, I have the dock plugged into a KVM switch so I can switch between the laptop and my gaming PC at the click of a button and it has seamlessly worked, giving an extended display across two monitors. I love the pop-out hub - incredibly handy (you can't lose it, so always there when you need one!) and really useful to also have an SD card slot which my Dell dock did not. It charges up my laptop quickly and keeps it powered fine.

Powerful and Well-Designed All-in-One Dock

This Anker Nano docking station is an excellent all-in-one solution for expanding laptop connectivity. The 13-in-1 design covers everything needed, with multiple display outputs, fast USB ports, Ethernet, and SD/TF card slots, all working smoothly. Triple display support performs reliably, and the detachable hub is a smart feature that adds flexibility for portable use. Build quality feels premium, setup is straightforward, and power delivery is strong enough to keep a laptop charged while in use. Overall, it’s a highly capable and dependable docking station that’s well worth the investment.

Well made and versatile

I give this 5 stars for being well made, practical and versatile making it easy to hook up all your devices to a laptop with just one cab;e, making docking and undocking a between multiple devices a breeze and the included 100W charging is especially useful. Wired, reliable internet might also be a boon for some and multi monitor supper super helpful for those who often work from home and don't want to have double of everything for work/home devices. The included removable mini dock thing is also pretty cool and I have shown a photo of it just doubling as an SD card reader for my PC! However it does come with some caveats, one being the price - as it stands it is £139 but just last week was down to £89.99 which is probably a fairer price for what you could - somewhat unkindly but still - call a last gen device. Whilst it still probably has more than most people could need I feel at full price it should carry next gen features like USB4 / Thunderbolt. It could also support M.2 storage which would make it super useful as a mini travel NAS almost. Overall though I gave it 5 stars for being great at what it is and claims to be, not for not being what it isn;t and never said it was, if you get my meaning. Pro-users and those who need that extra connectivity option or high data transfer users will probably want to give this a miss but for most, this is and will be more than enough for some time to come. There are so many things you can do with this that if you are the kind of person that will benefit from this device, you are already full of ideas for it. For example, I'm going to use it to hook my laptop up to the TV in hotel rooms with HDMI. Still can't help the nagging feeling that the designers thought of everything but it's a couple of years too late to be asking this high a price and indeed, other brands do the same thing for much less, albeit without the gimmicky yet quite cool removable widgety thing. For most people this may even be way more than they need and a simple KVM or powered USB hub might be all they need. Make sure, before you pay the high price, that you need all it can do, and if you do, well then this is a fine choice and a sturdy product from a known brand.

Comprehensive display options. Handy detachable hub.

Another smart product from Anker. Got lots of Anker gear, and so far have never had a dud. It's for power users really, so unless you need all the functionality it offers you can get cheaper Anker devices. But if it suits you, it's just brilliant. More for Windows than Mac, due to the display limitations for Mac. So easy to use with the 2x HDMI and DisplayPort outputs, which give a sharp output to all monitors. You should be covered for all your display needs, but maybe the Mk2 could have USB display included as that is becoming more popular. Transfer speeds are very fast, if you use sufficiently speedy storage devices. I did think the 6 in 1 hub, might be a bit gimmicky. But it's actually quite handy, to take along with you for use with your storage devices. Or for when you can hook up, to a bigger monitor. Power passthrough works well, to also charge your laptop whilst working. It's at the high end in terms of price, but it's also very capable if it meets your specific requirements. Great build and support from Anker, so a worthwhile purchase.

🖥️ Solid Build, Good Connectivity, Slightly Gimmicky

Anker’s Nano docking station still delivers the brand’s trademark build quality and reliability, but the underlying tech is definitely a generation behind the latest Thunderbolt‑based docks. For the right setup, though, it remains a capable and well‑priced option. ⚙️ Connectivity & Ports You get a generous spread of ports: USB‑C upstream at 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen 2) Two downstream USB‑C ports (10 Gbps + 5 Gbps) USB‑A ports (5 Gbps + USB 2.0) 2× HDMI + 1× DisplayPort for triple‑display setups Ethernet, audio jack, SD/TF card slots 140 W power input with 100 W PD to the laptop It’s a very complete set of connections, even if the speeds are no longer cutting‑edge. 🧩 Detachable Hub The detachable 6‑in‑1 hub is the most divisive feature: In theory, it gives you a portable mini‑dock for travel. In practice, hanging a chunky hub directly off a laptop’s USB‑C port is… less than ideal. The risk of mechanical stress on the port outweighs the convenience for many users. Keeping it attached to the main dock is the safer, more sensible approach. 🏗️ Build Quality & Design Classic Anker: compact, solid, and reassuringly weighty. The weight helps keep it planted on the desk — no cable‑drag issues like you get with lightweight vertical docks. The styling is clean and modern, fitting well into most setups. ⚡ Performance & Future‑Proofing USB 3.2 Gen 2 at 10 Gbps is fine for everyday use, but it’s undeniably being eclipsed by Thunderbolt and USB4 on newer laptops. For users with older or mid‑range machines, it’s still perfectly adequate. For high‑end workflows (fast SSDs, high‑refresh displays, heavy data transfer), it’s starting to feel dated. 💬 Real‑World Impression A dependable, well‑built dock with a broad port selection and stable performance. The detachable hub feels more like a gimmick than a practical feature, but the main dock itself is solid. As long as you’re not expecting Thunderbolt‑level throughput, it’s good value. ✅ Verdict: 4/5 A stylish, reliable dock with great connectivity for the price — just be aware that the tech is a step behind the latest standards.

Powerful, but watch where you plug it in.

Does exactly what it says it does which is why I always trust anker for chargers and leads powerful and charges everyone's phones even at the same time hits fast charge 2.0 on my s23 with the included cable, surpassing my last samsung charger. However there's one flaw- the travel compact design is brilliant, but it means that the prongs fold down, and i can't see a way to lock them into place. This means that any downwards force on the plug (even lightly pushing) causes the prongs to start to fold and so it comes away from the socket slightly, needing to be pushed back in. this is fine for me as the charger sits on a countertop so nothing would ever pull it, but if someone bought this, plugged it into a high up socket and didn't have a long enough lead and had a phone dangling (I've done it before in the past) then i worry the thing would fall out of the wall in that case. I need to keep in mind to keep it at tabletop or desk level at all times and never let anything tug on the plug.

Charger with a display

This charger has really caught my attention with some of its features. There are many chargers that can output this level of power bit this on does a bit more. It has a display on the side of the charger where most have their USB sockets and this displays charging information for all of the ports. It can display a large charing output or three bar graphs, one for each port showing the charging output and the total charging output figure. It also shows the charging temperature and how long the charger has been active. It also has the output USB sockets facing downwards when plugged into a wall socket which I like. The mains plug pins on the charger also fold away for storage and travel. It is also supplied with a USB-C charging cable. It shows on my Samsung phone as Superfast Charging 2.0 when in use. And finally is it made by Anker which is a well known reliable brand with good customer support.

An absolute POWERHOUSE of a Charger

This Anker 100W Smart Charger is incredible. The build quality is solid, as expected from Anker, and the performance is flawless. The smart screen is a game-changer, clearly showing total wattage, individual port usage (USB-C X 2 and 1 X USB-A), and temperature. It makes monitoring charging super easy and ensures all my devices are juicing up efficiently. I have a Samsung s25 ultra and this charges it on superfast charging 2.0 in hyperspeed times - whilst simultaneously fast charging my iPad pro! If you need a powerful, trustworthy, and smart charger, buy this now - Anker quality never disappoints!

I
I J.
Powerful, Compact, and Smart!

Charges my laptop and phone at full speed with no hiccups and the GaN tech keeps it cool even under heavy load. The screen is a nice touch, shows wattage on all three ports so you can see exactly what’s happening. I do wish the screen stayed on while charging instead of switching off after a few seconds, and it would be nicer if the main view just showed the total wattage rather than all ports by default. Ports are on the bottom, so if your plug is near a wall or tabletop you might have to wiggle cables to fit. No Bluetooth, so you can’t check stats remotely, but that’s not a deal-breaker. Super compact, fits easily in a bag, and feels solid. One thing I really like is the folding pins. Makes it super travel-friendly because it doesn’t snag in your bag or scratch anything else. Pins feel sturdy, not flimsy, and pop out smoothly when you need them. It’s a small feature but makes a big difference if you’re constantly moving between home, office, or hotels. Overall a solid buy if you need a 100W charger without fuss, and it’s really satisfying to have a screen that actually shows what’s happening with your devices while they charge.
