soundcore AeroFit Pro | Open-Ear Headphones, Ultra Secure Fit

I've had these since they were released and have been fairly happy with them with some shortcomings.
I'll list them as pros and cons to make it more structured.

+++ PROS +++
- comfortable to wear for long periods of time, I would probably describe myself of having medium to larger ears though
- they very nicely inside the case and they are easy to remove,
- sound is very adequate,
- battery life is more than adequate. I never had to put them back in the case for a quick charge but mind you I'm only using them at home on sessions under 6 hours probably
- microphone tuning seem to be one of the better ones as I've been on calls in my car (the few times I've used them in the car) and the person on the other end didn't hear any background. noise thinking I was at home or in a quiet place. So noise isolation on calls is very good.

--- CONS ---
- volume is too low on the maximum setting. I drive a diesel Mazda 5 and on long journey I used these earphones but the background noise covers up the earphones, The volume is low mainly because the speaker sits on top of the ear as far as 1.5 - 2cm away from the ear canal. This means there is more space around the speaker driver for the sound to dissipate in the environment as well as space to let the ambient noise in covering up the sound made by the earphones. I've attached pictures below. The round design of the speaker end means the sound is not guided towards the ear canal as is the case with my BackBeat Fit earphones that has a silicone cap that adjusts to guide the sound exactly in the ear-canal opening instead of being lost in the open environment.
I also took them on a city break in London and honestly I had to press the earphones against my ear to understand what was being said in the podcast,
- having physical buttons is a plus but they sit in an awkward position so one has to either use two fingers to press them or push down the earphone down. A better placement could have been on the outside pressing towards the head.
- physical buttons are also limited in functionality and could never gotten around to using them properly.
There doesn't seem to play / pause videos on youtube on my computer and don't skip tracks. If I press on the left one sometimes it lowers the volume but other times it switches itself off if pressed for too long.

Coming from 1st generation Plantronics BackBeat Fit sports earphones I can safely say I am still to find a pair of earphones that matches the functionality and design of those earphones with excellent sound, adequate volume due to ear canal design and 2 physical buttons that would let you use most of the useful functions available over bluetooth.
Still using my BackBeat Fit 1st generation when I'm driving the car or in the city outdoors and keep the AeroFit Pro for home use on my laptop.
I hope they read the reviews and improve on the design in future iterations of these earphones.

Very pleased with this purchase. Sound quality is excellent although volume could be a little louder. Very comfortable to wear for long periods. This is the findings of other YouTube reviewers.

An Addition to my review of the Aero Fit Pro. Disappointed with these, a very limited fit that did not work for me. However used the full refund /returns process. Packed off the earbud tracked via RM. Also wrote a poor review. Had an immediate response from both to the positive. However after a while, still no refund, so asked for an update. Delivery by RM was still showing incomplete, often happens with RM. Soundcore bypassed their auto refund system and refunded my money. Well impressed. Hence this review. I will now look to their Aerofit 2 Adjustables as a replacement.

Sehr groß und klobig. Aber dafür sound und comfort sehr gut. Etwas teuer aber.

Funktionieren super der Ton ist klasse für Open ear headphones. Am besten für Aktivitäten bei den man schwitzt denn das Ohr kann frei atmen. Toll finde ich außerdem den Nackenriemen damit hat man das Gefühl mehr Sicherheit beim laufen und trainieren zu haben. Die Farbkombis sind auch ansprechend auch super.

Ich habe die Aerofit pro seit einigen Tagen und muss sagen, sie sind echt eine Wucht. Ich habe davor die Nothing open ear ausprobiert... zum einen passten sie nicht optimal auf meine Ohren und der Sound war nicht halb so gut wie die der aerofit pro. Sie passen perfekt, man spürt sie so gut wie gar nicht und sie haben für open ear headphones einen hervorragenden Klang... auch der Bass ist für open ear headphones sehr zufriedenstellend! Das Case ist zwar ziemlich groß, aber von der Haptik und der Qualität der Hammer... kann keines meiner bisherigen headphones mithalten!

Genau wie beschrieben, sehr schnell zugesendet.

Son de qualité pour ceux qui n’aiment pas avoir les écouteurs dans les oreilles. Personnellement je préfère les écouteurs dans les oreilles. La protection arrière n’est pas longue et est rigide. Mieux vaut porter les écouteurs sans la protection. L’adaptateur n’est pas fourni pour la recharge. Le boîtier de charge est élégant et solide.

Die headphones tragen sich gut, die bügel könnten etwas flexibler sein, schmerzen aber nach einer 12h Schicht nicht so dolle wie innears.Akkulaufzeit ist noch super, hier wird sich die Qualität erst mit der Zeit zeigen, da mein Ladezyklus aber regelmäßig ist sollte sie lange halten.Sound:Ist obere Mittelklasse. Guter sauberer Klan, ordentlicher Bass.Software ist i.o. hab ich nicht viel genutzt. Schön wäre es wenn man die Knöpfe zum wechseln der gekoppelten geräte nutzen könnte.Verbesserungen wären ne Halterung für das Nackenband am Case und am Case Schlaufenloch um das Ding nicht immer in der Tasche tragen zu müssen.Fazit:Super für den Alltag ohne große Kompromisse im Klang mit langer Akkulaufzeit.

It sits very well and secure on my ears and it also does not obstruct the sound from the outside.There have been days where only a remark by other people reminded me that I still was wearing them, albeit I did not use them for a few hours.And if I use the the sound is nice and full but I did notice when using Duolingo on an iPhone occasionally did- and reconnect sequences.I would like to see them to include a close range find me style tracking feature. But it seams that Apple does not licence the close range finding to other manufacturers.

Ich trage die headphones beim Rad fahren um hauptsächlich Nachrichten oder andere Informationen zu erhalten bei ca 30 Minuten Fahrt zur Arbeit. Bei Musik darf man wirklich nicht zu viel erwarten, wobei bei nicht allzu hoher Lautstärke der Bass sehr angenehm ist. (Im Winter eine Mütze drüber). Was absolut klasse ist, ist und bleibt der Tragekomfort. Mit Bügel im Nacken sind sie super fixiert. Und was noch wichtiger ist kein drücken und keine Schmerzen im Ohrinnenraum. Außengeräusche sind (der Sicherheit wegen) noch sehr gut wahrnehmbar.

Très agréables à porter (on oublie carrément qu'on les a dans les oreilles) et sécurisants car on garde la conscience de ce qui se passe à l'extérieur. En revanche, il n'y a vraiment aucune isolation des bruits extérieurs, à tel point que le volume sonore du casque peut vite devenir insuffisant.Typiquement, à la salle de sport, même avec le volume à fond, on entend un mix de sa musique et du fond sonore de la salle :(. Dans un avion un peu bruyant, le son du casque est couvert par les bruits de moteur et devient carrément inaudible.=> super en ballade ou en vélo, pas du tout adapté à des environnements bruyants.Sinon, ils font le job correctement. Connexion à différents devices sans problèmes (Iphone, PC...) et autonomie décente.
