We researched into lots of Robovacs, watched numerous Youtube reviews and finally settled on this one. We chose this one as it fit our budget, it does mopping and vacuuming and Eufy is a leading brand. It was easy to set up, the App is simple to use, the Vac also gives you commentary and it does a great job (we have 2 dogs), our floors are mostly hard with flat rugs and the Vac has no problems navigating across the different surfaces. We set it off at 6am before the household wakes and come downstairs to lovely clean floors. The first night the noise of the cleaner emptying did wake up one of the dogs but after that no issues they just seem to accept the new addition to the family wandering around cleaning up after them.
So easy to set up and very happy with its cleaning ability .
It is only cleaning for 45 min , then it goes to dry the mop for 3 hours .
Had originally ordered direct from Eufy but they weren’t able to deliver to my postcode (BT). Arrived no problem with Amazon in fairly good time. They even gave me a £20 refund as it was advertised again at a reduced price. I has been working very well so far.
Really good Hoover and mop!
Absolutely love this.Really like the rug lift feature so it does not get rugs or carpets wentAlso like the rotating mops and mop cleaning feature do your hoover is not just using dirty mops when cleaning. It visits the base to clean mop head regularly mist mop hoovers do not have this feature that I can see.I have had a robot hoover mop before but I have to say this is far superior and worth the extra costThe base is a fair size but looks nice. You just need to be sure you have a suitable place for it.App easy to useHave no negative comments to makeCleans and mops really well
We recently returned our Eufy X8 Hybrid after around 9 months of use. Over time it became increasingly disoriented - regularly crashing into objects that had never moved (chairs, tables), struggling to navigate obvious routes, and taking long, illogical paths back to the base. It somehow knew the way out but couldn’t find the same way home.It also started forgetting maps and wouldn’t allow us to clean certain rooms without remapping - and even then it was inconsistent. After a few weeks without a robovac, we replaced it with the Eufy Omni C20, and the difference has been huge. It’s quieter during cleaning yet more powerful, the mopping is excellent, and it’s far smarter overall. No crashing into furniture, better obstacle awareness, and much more reliable mapping. It genuinely feels like a proper upgrade and well worth the extra money - one of those cases where spending more actually delivers better value. That said, there are a couple of important things we wish we’d known before buying:1) Very loud before and after cleaningBefore each mop, the dock withdraws water and washes the mop pads - which is effective, but very noisy. After cleaning, it performs a short but brutal auto-empty of the dustbin and water, which is easily the loudest part of the whole process. With our previous robovac, we could run it early in the morning while my partner was still asleep upstairs. That’s not realistic with the Omni C20. It’s simply too loud for overnight or early-morning use, which means we now have to run it during the day. If you’re hoping for quiet overnight cleaning, this is something to be aware of.2) Mop head air drying (long and noticeable)The dock automatically air-dries the mop pads after each mopping session - a great idea and very effective at preventing them smelling damp. However, the minimum drying time is 3 hours (options are 3–6 hours), and during this time there’s a constant low hum, similar to a bathroom extractor fan.For example, if we mop at 8pm, there’s a noticeable hum until around midnight, and we often need the TV or radio on louder to mask it. It’s not deafening, but it is persistent.Overall, this is a brilliant robovac: far better mapping, stronger suction, excellent mopping, and a clear upgrade from the X8 Hybrid. We genuinely love it and wouldn’t go back. However, it’s noisier than expected during certain stages, which has changed how and when we use it. Still very much worth it - just something to factor in depending on your routine and sensitivity to noise.
It’s good but it’s certainly not perfect. Sometimes I come home to find it has been stuck facing a wall just whirring away for ages, not moving. But overall it’s good and saves me time. Here’s an example photo of where it was stuck when I came home today. I’m not sure why it was stuck there as it could easily have turned and moved away from the wall.Remember to clear the floor before it runs. I had put a dirty tea towel on the floor so I’d take it out to the washing machine later but I forgot to pick it up when I left the kitchen. The hoover got stuck when it sucked it up. My fault, but just a good reminder to keep the floors clear.
Good for a daily clean. Easy to control from my phone. Hoover's and mops too. Bought during an Amazon sale and good value for money. Reasonable pick up and makes my daily life easier with pets And 3 kids!
Got this as a gift from my son for Christmas and normally I wouldn’t be happy getting a hoover as a gift but it’s probably one of the best gifts ever. We have hard floors and quite thick carpets. It does an amazing job & im shocked at how much dirt, hair (Ive long hair) it picks up. Im currently lying with my feet up while it goes about its merry way. It actually cleans my bedroom carpet better than my shark ever did. I used to have to take one of that metal scraper things over that carpet to get the hair & black sock fluff off.It doesn’t stick on the wooden things between rooms, sorry can’t think ofThe word.so it goes from hard floor onto carpet. It goes right under my sofa and gets right into the corners. I love it.Don’t find it particularly noisy except when mop cleaning or emptying dust bag.For upstairs I just set it to vacuum then lift it upstairs and off it goes. MyUpstairs is set upOn multi maps.
The best thing sinced sliced bread. I put this thing on, go up stairs and have a brew. Come down an hour later and boom! Wife gets home and asked what ive done all day. I sit there all smug and say ive hoovered and mopped the entire downstairs of the mansion. Bonus points for the fact it actually cleans pretty well.
I love it , took awhile to get used to the no go ares to block getting tangled in cables or curtains but now ok, the floor has never looked as clean ,the mop feature I had to put it on a higher wash to get rid of stubborn stains, when you see the dirt in the dirty water Bucket, you will be shocked overall I give it a 5, just hope it continues to be good
We've had this a couple of months now after adopting a particularly hairy dog. I love it, and it's saved me countless hours of vaccing and mopping.Setting it up is easy, you just need to clear as much of the floor as possible so it can accurately map your home. Don't worry if it doesn't go into every nook and cranny as it's still mapping and is surprisingly accurate.Once that's done you can set what you want it do in the app, from a full clean to selecting specific rooms, zones, or types of cleans. It's also easy to set no go zones, for example if there's an area with lots of wires etc. It's not as powerful as a proper vacuum but you can set the power level and whether it goes over the area once or twice or whether it uses more or less water on the mop and you can also set custom cleans.I find it works better if it vacs first and then mops instead of doing both at the same time but that's because my dog sheds an incredible amount of hair.In short I'm really pleased with it, it's much better than I expected and now I've got over just watching it doing it's thing can leave it while I get on with other stuff.
A brilliant cleaner I had previously purchased one for myself. I liked it so much that I purchased another for the upstairs of my house. This one I purchased for my son and daughter-in-law.
Got this as a treat in the Black Friday sales and I am so glad I did!I love how it changes from vacuuming to mopping without me needing to do anything. Great quality, suction is really good, mapping is easy and the app is easy to use.We have two dogs so there is always hair or crumbs or god knows what on the floor so this is a god send!
Set up for 1 week, and so far the system is working well. It transitions from hard floor to carpet/rug effectively and the two rotating mop pads mean light marks/dirt is cleaned up.Set up was quick and easy.
Great value for money, easy to set up and use. Hoover works brilliantly, great pick capacity. The mop lacks the gusto needed to shift tough dirt, hence only 4/5 stars. I mean it’s great overall just needs to improve the mopping function slightly. Map accuracy could be slightly better but overall would definitely recommend.
I’m so happy with this and so is my back 🤣😂
I've only had it a few days and still exploring all the options and I'm already very pleased with it and looking forward to finishing the set up
Excellent product
really good, easy to setup with a user friendly app. Just wish it came with a sample of the solution so we could of used it for mopping straight away.
I’ve been really impressed with this product. It automatically detects carpet vs hard floor. It carefully navigates obstacles with ease. The app is easy to use and I’ve been able to set up effective schedules to help with my cleaning. Would definitely recommend.
Excellent product must have
Used a few times. So far so good
Enjoying it so far. Just still need to figure out some of the settings but it is good. One downfall is that I had to remap a few times as it would only do a square around it and go back.
The setup was a doddle but wise to dload the manual from Eufy web site and familiarise your self with what and how it does things for peace of mind.Unpack and remove all transport blocks and films over the device and station, careful around the front facing LIDAR as this is the main navigation module.Setup your phone with the app Eufy clean or securityFill clean tank with plain (better even with distilled or deionised water) cold onlyConfirm the base dust collection bag is in its proper place and secureBase must be on a firm surface not a rug or soft/high pile carpet and with room all aroundI placed mine on a thin , flat perspex sheet on the carpet.Push the Vacbot into the the base as it will need a full charge, arrives with about a 60% chargeNOTE: this may not charge until the Wi-Fi is setupIf possible have your phone Wi-Fi on 2.4 as this is the base station frequency and may not connect to complete the setup ( Bluetooth is used to setup the Wi-Fi and password, so this must be on also)add the device it should be found within a few seconds, if not follow the pretty detailed instructions on the app.confirmation in speech is heard during setup and operation.Once connected to Internet do any firmware upgrades as it suggestsRemove extra items on the floor your rooms, ready to Map out. This can be re-done anytime, and 3 levels of rooms can be mapped and stored in the base and vacbot with the multi-room setting.Note that only hoovering can be done on a floor level without a base station, as it has to set off from the base when a mopping is required, to wet the mops and clean them periodically. The internal dustbin must be also checked during progress by pausing action and checking/emptying the container under the top magnetic disc.Start the mapping without cleaning at first (setting in the app), it wanders about spinning around mapping all the rooms it can find (open all doors). If on a top level with stairs, temporarily place a board or similar at the top step just in case during mapping, remove it later when complete. After the map is created, it can be modified by dividing or merging rooms, placing no go areas or virtual walls (like at the top of steps)Cleaning can be done various ways:Home: will visit all rooms in order and mop HARD floors if this is set.Room: will do only rooms you select.Zone: good for adding to the map if it was blocked off previously. The Hoovering has 5 suction levels from quiet to Max which can be set for whole level or individual rooms and zone cleaning. The mopping only works on Hard floors detected by the Vacbot, it lifts the mops up 12mm when carpet detecteduseful when there is a mat on a hard floor kitchen. There is a LOT of sensors on this beast !A drop sensor on the front to detect steps and such so it doesn't fall down, best to block off while initial mapping though as i mentioned earlier, a no-go zone or virtual wall can be added later for full protection. The mini dust box with hEPA filter is under the magnetic top disc and easily removed for replacing, it fits either way round.Plug in Replacement batteries are available when needed, powering down the vacbot, removing the side brush and the base cover to reveal the battery box.On the back edge are the charging pins , the dust extraction port and the infrared guidance for reversing into the baseThe Base consists of two water tanks, left clean, right dirty, the sealed lids are hinged and clip into place with a latch. If either of these are removed the normally white led circle showing under the clean tank turns red, also happens when the level sensors detect a full dirty or low clean level.Hoovering can still be done if there is a warning showing on the tanks, just not any mopping. The 3ltr disposable base dust bag is below the tanks behind a pull off cover. The cardboard end will only fit one way round and there is a neat closure tab to pull across before removing a full bag to avoid any dust cloud.Map accuracy is excellent as is the dust collection especially on Max, the short pile carpets are a few years old and it still fills the small onboard dust container, area about 32m2, I dont have pets but set mine to high so it returns and empties more often, as an overloaded container can cause blow back of the dust contents from under the vacbot when it self empties. With a forward facing LIDAR (the future) the vacbot does spin around quite a lot to confirm its position based on the surroundings and its internal map. Not sure if it contains an IMU to enhance and correct mapping.2 modes of cleaning, 1 pass only, tours the room in accurate parallel runs, 2 pass enhances this by finishing with 90 deg crosshatch runs, obviously takes longer. If it comes across things that have been moved from the original mapping or extra obstructions it navigates around them and continues as best as possible on its straight line.If mopping is required in any room or zone selected or when doing a full level which includes hard floors, the base will wash a...
