I love it and the fact I can use it to make calls from a far distance away from my phone makes me love it more, noise cancellation and everything perfect
I love it so much
This bud is really amazing, sound is clear, navigation is swift. The noise cancellation is top notch. Fit perfectly to different ear structure. I will recommend it to anyone who wants quality at an affordable price.
These are great headphones from Soundcore, perfect for everyday use in the gym or at work. Sound quality is excellent and have good NC for half in ear
Overall these aren't bad. Sound quality is good albeit a bit bass heavy by default but that is easily fixed in the app. However there is a strange quirk with the playback that I've never encountered with other earbuds. When playback starts it is hollow and tinny and then a second or two later it changes to what you would expect it too be. The earfins feel like a bit of a gimmick tbh. Yes they do help hold these in but only because they have chosen a very odd shape to begin with. Now I dont know if mine are just faulty or not but the biggest issue I have had is that the ANC and pass through modes seem to do absolutely nothing at all. I realise with this design ANC is never going to be great, but both ANC and pass through literally do nothing. Turning either of them on or off has no effect on what can be heard one way or the other.
Bought these to replace some AirPods that I couldn’t find, as they were a little bit cheaper. I have to say they are great with loads more functionality than the AirPods and the sound quality is excellent. I like the fins as well as i wear them cycling and they feel really secure in my ears when fitted properly. I have since found my AirPods but will be sticking with these in the future.
Very good productI like soundcore anker products
Excellent headphones. This is probably my 5th pair from Anker and definitely one of my favourites. By far the most comfortable headphones for prolonged use. Noise cancellation is surprisingly useful, even given the open ear design. Great for outdoors when you want to be aware of traffic etc.
These Buds are very comfortable, sound great, and have a lot of great features.I like how the adaptive noise cancellation changes in real time, and the spatial audio makes all kinds of music sound full and rich. The AI translation that works in real time is a huge help when you travel or talk to friends all over the world. The battery life is also great—up to 30 hours with the case—so you can rely on them all day. The half-in-ear shape with removable fins makes sure they fit well oand you can wear them all day. These earbuds are great for work, travel, and music because the 4-mic AI system makes calls sound great.
These are the most impressive budget Hi‑Res earbuds I’ve tested, offering spatial audio, Hi‑Res playback, LDAC, adaptive ANC, wear detection, and an LCP diaphragm, the technology reserved to used in premium models, all managed through the app. Sound quality is excellent, with balanced lows, mids, and highs, warm‑balanced tuning, punchy bass, and strong sub‑bass. Hi‑Res codecs reveal extra detail, though Android users benefit most since Apple devices are limited to AAC.
,The glossy finish resists dust and earwax and wipes clean easily; only the front grill needs occasional brushing. The included fins ensure a comfortable fit for many ear shapes. They don't produce any static shocks common in some clip‑on open‑ear earbuds.
,The 4‑mic Adaptive ANC performs strongly, especially on rainy days when transport noise increases in damp air, and it is effective against steady, low‑frequency noise below 1 kHz, including kitchen extractor fans, vacuums, aircraft hum, and crowd noise. Transparency Mode and Adaptive ANC both function noticeably well, though each introduces a mild system hiss. Transparency Mode boosts surrounding sounds to improve spatial awareness and prevent complete isolation
,Wear detection is accurate, pausing audio when removed and resuming only if one earbud stays in the ear. I think, they use older IR optical sensor technology for that but still it works great and I noticed almost no false triggers.
,Note that the touch controls support cycling through Normal, ANC, and Transparency modes, but the modes can’t be managed independently on each earbud. Whatever mode cycle you assign to the left earbud automatically applies to the right, which makes switching through all three modes a bit inconvenient. The app includes Spatial Audio, a Preference Test, many EQ presets, and an 8‑band Custom EQ and each setting produces a clearly different and enjoyable sound.
,Real‑time translation is highly accurate and works even without an active Bluetooth connection. The Anka AI assistant handles contextual phrases for travel and business. For face‑to‑face translation, you must manually tap the native and target language buttons, as these controls cannot be triggered via touch gestures.
So far, so good. Sound amazing especially when you EQ them to your taste. Great bass and an app that since purchase has worked really well. 4 star rating right now, but may increase after further use.
I am very pleased to recommend
good. a little slippery in the ear.
Smart looking and comfortable fit.Been wearing for about 4 hrs a day over the past week and I haven't had sore ears like other earbuds. Nice design and excellent sound with a good base coming through. Definitely worth the money.
Sound really good. Yes it’s valuable.
Great sound, easy to instal and easy manage the app.
Work great
Very happy with these. Most ear pods fall out for me, but the design of these are secure. The sound is excellent and the noise cancelling is surprisingly effective. Even on the underground.
I’m not a fan of earbuds that sit inside the ear canal, but the downside of normal earbuds is that they fall out with movement and the noise cancellation is normally rubbish. I find these to be a brilliant compromise. The silicone “wings” keep the bud secure and provide just enough pressure to seal the bud against your ear, so that the noise cancellation is effective. Fully customisable sound characteristics via the app, also means that the sound quality is fantastic.
If you find traditional silicone-tip earbuds uncomfortable or "stuffy" after an hour, the soundcore Liberty Buds are exactly what you’ve been looking for. I moved to these from the Liberty 4 NC, and the difference in long-term wearability is night and day.The Highlights:Exceptional Comfort: Unlike the Liberty 4 NC which seals deep in the ear, these use a semi-in-ear design. You don’t get that "underwater" pressure feeling, making them easy to wear for an entire workday without fatigue.Smart Control Updates: One of the best changes Anker made here is the triple-press touch control. On previous models, I’d accidentally pause my music every time I adjusted the fit for comfort or put them back when they slipped. Now, you can map your main controls to a triple-tap, effectively ending accidental triggers.Effective (but Realistic) ANC: Because these are semi-in-ear, they don’t provide a total vacuum seal. The noise cancelling is "good enough" for most environments—it handles engine hums and fans well—but don't expect total silence. It’s a deliberate trade-off: you lose a bit of isolation to gain a lot of comfort.Design: They look sleek and premium. The build quality feels sturdy, and they don't look bulky when worn. The Verdict:If you prioritize raw noise cancelling above all else, stick with the Liberty 4 NC. But if you want earbuds you can actually leave in your ears for 4+ hours without soreness, these are the better choice. They strike a perfect balance between modern features and ergonomic design.
I’ve had Soundcore P40i in-ear wireless earbuds for a while and have been really impressed with their performance, but despite trying the full range of silicon tips I’m never completely confident that they’re not going to fall out when I’m exercising. This isn’t unique to the Soundcore earbuds; perhaps I’ve just got funny shaped ears.I was keen to try these Soundcore Liberty buds, with their half-in-ear design. Out of the box, the charging case has premium appeal, with its satin finish and sliding lid. Also included in the neat package is a usb-c charging cable and a range of silicon “fins”, which securely locate the buds in the ear. These are simple to change (following the illustration on the packaging) and I’ve found the largest provide a secure fit for me whilst remaining comfortable.A QR code on the box takes you to the Liberty bud site, with user manual, “how-to” video, FAQ’s and a link to the Soundcore help and feedback section. This information is also available on the Soundcore app, which I was already familiar with.Set-up was straightforward in the app, which includes the option to personalise the buds using HearID - listening to a number of sounds and selecting your favourite (A or B) to build a preference for bass, mid-range and treble. The buds offer three modes - Normal, Transparency and Adaptive ANC; I was pleasantly surprised at how effective the noise cancellation is, given that the buds don’t deliver an air-tight sear in the ear. As is typical with this type of ear bud, control of functions and settings is via a number of different taps on the right or left bud (of course settings can also be accessed using the app). The Liberty buds also offer real-time AI translation capabilities - I’ve not been able to try this feature yet, but with a holiday planned for April I’m looking forward to making use of this capability. At time of review, the Liberty buds are on offer priced at under £60, which seems like terrific value.
Absolutely amazing pair of earbuds. The only drawback is not incredibly strong ANC, but it's still a lot better than I expected for a pair that aren't full in ear buds. Sound quality is great, but the comfort is what wins it for me, and with the wings they don't budge either. Literally the buds I have dreamt of having.
The ‘Soundcore Liberty Wireless Earbuds’ from ‘Anker’ are a set of mid-ranged Bluetooth earbuds, designed to deliver excellent sound reproduction and effective active noise cancelling.Initial set up (like most earbuds of this nature) is quick, simple and pretty self-explanatory. Just pair them up to your phone or whatever device you’re using, and away you go. It really is as simple as that. When being worn, the earbuds feel very comfy in your ear, and not too cumbersome or invasive within your ear canal. They’re also very lightweight, so although you’ll feel them in your ear (like you would with any earphones or earbuds), however they’re not overly noticeable, especially after a minute or two wearing them. Look-wise they do stick out a tad. Not overly so, but they’re not particularly subtle like some earbuds can be (if you know what I mean). This is mostly down to the piece that extends down from the earbud which includes the four of the four microphones for picking up the surrounding noise to cancel out.Unlike other earbuds, this pair doesn’t use silicone ear gels to allow for different sized ears. Instead, you have different sized ear fins which extend upwards from the earbuds, to hold the earbuds in place against the upper curve of your ear. These are amazing! They work really well – far better than the silicone ear gels, which I find don’t hold earbuds in that well. These ear fins are also really comfortable to wear and super easy for you to swivel the earbuds into place – lodged in by the upper curve of your ear.As with most modern earbuds, these earbuds come with a handy hard-plastic charging case. To charge the earbuds you just pop them into the designated little slots within the case, and they’ll instantly start charging. The case holds charge before it too needs charging up. You can of course, have the case plugged into a power source (using the USB cable that comes included) whilst the earbuds are charging – in effect charging the earbuds straight from the source.Sound quality wise, in my opinion these earbuds are excellent. Ok, so they’re not absolute audiophile quality, but to be honest, they’re not a million miles away. There’s a rich, deep bass which seems to be supped up a tad and they’re able to reproduce complex layers of notes without any particularly noticeable muffling or amalgamation. Acoustic tones are also very well-rounded and natural sounding. The active noise cancelling is excellent too. The earbuds adjust automatically depending on if you’re indoors, outdoors, or on transport etc. When on public transport (such as a busy train when commuting) these really do their thing – giving you incredible blocking out of any outside noises so you can really hear your music (or whatever) without any outside disturbances. All in all, I’ve been incredibly happy and impressed with the earbuds. I use them for walks and commuting, which really works well for me as the noise cancelling they offer is excellent. Highly recommended.
Review for soundcore Liberty Buds by Anker, Half-in-Ear Design, Removable Ear Fins, Real-Time Adaptive Noise Cancelling, Fast Charging, Wireless Bluetooth Earbuds, Translation Earbuds, 30 Hours of PlaytimeThe sound very good, clear, and powerful, with strong bass for a semi-open design. The companion app's extensive EQ customisation options (like HearID) are a major plus, helping users tailor the audio to your preference. The half in ear style, coupled with the included removable ear fins (available in four sizes), provides lightweight secure design, comfortable fit for extended wear without the "plugged up" feeling of traditional in ear buds. However takes a bit of getting used to and less than ideal in certain circumstances such as running don't feel secure enough.ANC noise cancelling gives good sound quality for a half in ear design, particularly for reducing consistent ambient noise like a white noise/traffic. However without proper seal is less effective and doesn't provide the level sound isolation compared to full in ear. I would much prefer full in ear with transparency modes to half in, half out buds, which avoids potential pitfalls of this design. A 4 microphone system with AI noise reduction provides clear voice calls, with a stable natural sounding voice thanks to the good microphone quality and noise reduction.Solid battery life around 6-7 hours of playback with ANC on, and around 26-30 hours with the charging case. Fast charging capability (10 minutes for a few hours of use) is great for when you want to head out quickly for a few hours use. The Soundcore app offers a lot of functionality and customisation, including EQ settings, ANC modes, and touch control customisation. The touch controls on the earbuds work well for the most part, however can be overly sensitive.Overall the Anker Soundcore Liberty Buds offer great value for money , delivering excellent sound and unique features for a semi in ear design, making them a worthwhile alternative to more expensive brands like Apple's AirPods.
Just can't get them to sit properly in my ears, tried the different sizes of the 'wings' (?) that are meant to help hold them in place but the still fall out. It's a shame as they are a nicer balance between open ear and full in ear buds.
