Great cameras!

LOVE the cameras! So easy to install in a couple of minutes without a single tool required thanks to the magnetic wall mount. They’re great for in my house when I’m away- I can manually switch them off or put my location as when to turn it off (when away from home location). Love that you can switch them around- would even be good as baby monitors or to watch pets when away from home. I like turning my downstairs camera on when I’m in bed as I’m a single mum and gives me reassurance if I hear any noises- can just check live view. Great bit of kit

Good quality

I recently purchased the C35 2-cam kit and I’m extremely pleased with it. The magnetic mount is incredibly convenient and works perfectly, while the video clarity is excellent. The built-in alarm system and light pop feature are outstanding and add great value. Overall, it’s a fantastic all-in-one purchase.

Beats my ring camera

I went for the eufyCam C35 two-camera kit and it’s been a rock solid upgrade. The magnetic mounts make installation feel like sticking fridge magnets to a wall, and the cameras snap into place with a satisfying click. The colour night vision is crisp, even on those foggy British evenings when everything looks like a detective show.Local storage is the real winner here. No subscription traps, no “pay monthly to see your own garden” nonsense. Facial recognition has been accurate enough to tell me if it’s a delivery driver or just my own half-asleep face popping out for the bins. Battery life has been healthy too, and they’re solar-friendly if you want to go fully low-maintenance.

High quality materials and software - and very adaptable.

This security product is well designed and relatively easy to set up and get going. The kit is comprehensive with a base-station, two cameras, two 2-part wall-mounts, power adapter, three cables and wall-fixings.Setting up is explained and illustrated clearly in the User Guide (downloadable from the web page under the heading "Safety Documents"). An essential app is downloadable which works with the User Guide to step through each phase of the setup process. Setup uses scannable QR codes in the guide and on the three devices to confirm each step. The process does require the base station via an ethernet cable (supplied) to be connected to a home broadband router for initial connection. After that a wireless WiFi connection can be used so that the base station can be positioned anywhere there's a strong enough WiFi signal. The phone app will even test the signal strength in your chosen location before committing to it. I achieved watchable results from the cameras on my smartphone within an hour and a half. The wide angle camera images are very high quality, in colour (even at night) and well lit. Positioning the camera is recommended at up to 2 metres high which allows for recognition of faces and clothing, among other things. The software allows me to store photos of family and friends which the software can identify for me when it sends an alert.Alerts and notifications are very adaptable, allowing me to set the system up in a way that suits my preferences and my environment. The cameras have both light and sound alarms built in if needed. They also have microphones and speakers for two-way communication with strangers at the door.I like the fact that I can use the full functions of the system without having to pay any ongoing subscription fees. Additional cloud storage is available at a cost but, by using a large capacity micro-SD card in the base station, I can store all the video footage I need without any regular payments. The cameras are IP67 protected against ingress of water and dust - a high standard. The HomeBase Mini base-station requires a power connectio at all times, but the cameras have rechargeable batteries built in. Eufy solar panels are available at extra cost to provide constant power to the cameras, but if the cameras are installed at head height it's easy to take them down and recharge them with the supplied charger and cable. The software will alert you when they need charging. The product is fully CE marked to confirm it has been tested to comply with UK and European standards. For a penny under £170 I think this system is good value, is well made and convenient to use.

and easy-to-use home security system

This wireless camera kit offers simple installation and clear, detailed video both day and night. The magnetic mounts make it easy to position the cameras anywhere, whether indoors or outdoors, and the build feels sturdy with an IP67 waterproof rating. The picture quality is sharp, and the colour night vision works surprisingly well without needing extra lighting. Notifications arrive quickly thanks to smart AI detection that recognises people, pets, and vehicles accurately. The ability to store recordings locally without a monthly fee is a major advantage, and the option to expand storage with a microSD card keeps things flexible. The connection through 2.4GHz WiFi is stable, and the app is intuitive, allowing quick access to live feeds and settings. A smart, no-subscription solution for keeping your property secure.

2 CAM SYSTEM

I grabbed this to install at my grandparents house as we warned to be able to keep an eye on them and make sure that there is no people trying to take any advantage of them at the door. We opted to install one at the front of there house and also in the back garden. The aim was for two reasons - 1 to make sure they are safe as my grandmother seems to be prone to falling at the moment and also to be able to detect any motion and also as a safety security. I am able to control via the app and with the 2 way audio both speak to them and any potential trespassers and also have the playback footage. This can be stored on both the app and the included home storage system which is great! Super simple to setup, arrived in very premium packaging and set at a fantastic price point! Bargain :)

Works well, easy setup, budget but nice quality.

I really like Eufy kit, its built well and works well.I'm a little annoyed with this one as I checked the compatibility lists for the various camera support and homebase units and there was no such compatibilty with the Homebase 380 which I have some never bothered tryhign to connect it to my setup. Yet this one says it is compatible in one of the pull down FAQ'sAs with most of thier kit to work at its best it needs a homebase, this kit has its own Homebase Mini, and as mentioned it is also possible to connect to an existing setup through the Homebase 380 which has storage capability into the terabytes. The Homebase mini here comes with 8GB built in and is expandable through a micro SD cards. It is expandable to 1TB, the cameras themselves are expandable too, up to 256GB.The cameras are pretty dinky but well built, rubber covers seal the unit from the elements if you wanted to put them outside too. There is several types of mounts that can be used also, screw fitments, magnetic connections or just sitting on a bookshelf all work.I'm a little confused as all the existing reviews listed under the C35 camera and Homebase mini are for the 2 or 2C cameras with the homebase 2 or 3, not the C35 cameras and homebase mini. The video footage is stored as MP4 files and the quality is very good.Several security modes can be enabled that could produce a light upon detection, or an sound/alam, you can also converse with whom ever tripped the sensors.I use the advanced AI features on my 2C Pro's and S340's and they work pretty well, human, pet and car detection for movement etc.The units is a budget two camera setup and frankly it does a good job, the video isnt quite up to the quality of mine but its also a fraction of the cost at £129.99There are a multitude of other features such as cross camera tracking for example. But if you are looking for a budget setup with a lot of great features, then you'll be hard pressed to find a better solution in this price band without a subscription which for me, is a massive consideration.

Great cameras that give you a lot of piece of mind!

The eufy Security C35 Cam Kit has been amazing! Its a Wireless Security Indoor/Outdoor Camera. Meaning I can place the camera wherever I need in and out of my home and not be tied down by wires. On the app you can see in real time the charge on each camera. Which is useful for checking to see when the cameras are getting low. The cameras were quick to charge up to a full battery. The magnetic mount is awesome! Once placed on to a metal surface it is super secure. The cameras also comes with a fixable mount which is easy to fit and has a sliding clip in order to make removing and replacing the camera super easy. The night vision is clear as well as the color day vision. It connects to the app really easily, making for a quick set up.Once on the app you can zoom into footage, speak and even sound an alarm (with light) to warn off intruders. I personally enjoy the ability to speak over the camera as I use the cameras indoors to keep an eye on my cats and often speak to them throughout the day/night when I am away from the house. One massive benefit is there is No Monthly Fee! The cameras have Facial Recognition and motion detection which sends notifications to your app when flagged up which is very handy to check. The cameras are small and discreet making them less inconspicuous. They come with the option of connecting to the WiFi or connecting to a hub which is set up through a LAN port. The only downsides I have for these cameras are; they have a slight delay but the image is still crystal clear so I am happy. As well they are slightly stiff to fix to the initial mount the one that connects the camera to the mount for the wall and magnet but once on it is super secure.Overall, I am so pleased with the cameras and they have brought fantastic peace of mind. I throughly recommend these to anyone looking to for security for there home.

System just works and if you have the right Eufy doorbell that can also use the Homebase mini

First off, battery times I can not yet comment on as Amazon Vine reviews must be submitted within 30 days. Trying to pin down how long the cameras should go between charges has proven difficult. What I do know is one has been in use for a week with lots of false alerts as I set it up and got the positioning right. It presently is on 76%. The second one I set up then turned off as I needed to drill holes for it's mounting (the former is using the magnet in the mounting bracket). That is showing 74%, which is odd as it is meant to have been in a dormant state for 6 days. Net thing is it looks like I should get a month with the only downside being the need to take the cameras down to recharge them (and then have to mess around with positioning to get the motion detection zones aligned correctly). The software is good once you are used to it, but the mechanism for adjusting the motion detection zones is frankly terrible. Most the time to press on one of the hotspots to move a line it instead moves the zone, which is shrunken when pushed in to a frame edge. If you have a mobile phone screen pad on the end of a pen, use that. Alas for me i do not.Setting everything up, aside from the motion detection zones, was a breeze. If you also have a door bell or other camera that the Homebase mini hub supports then you can allocate them to it. I have an E340 doorbell which is supported so I moved it from an Eufy Chime to the Homebase mini. Only catch, and a really annoying one, it can not just be moved across. You need to add it to the hub, at which point it is removed from the chime, then you have to set it up again. I was not happy, but at least I now have all three devices (there two cameras and my existing doorbell) connected through the hub. Apparently I can also add the chime and may do this as an additional alerting device. One downside to the way all these systems work is you need an active Internet connection. Now without one the hub will record and store video (for which you should purchase a mini-SD card as there is not much space on the Homebase Mini), however to view it you still have to use the Eufy phone/tablet app and connect their own servers. At least with Anker/Eufy you know it is a large company that is not suddenly going to disappear. Some of the marketing blurb does talk about direct connections, but I tried connecting to the cameras with my router down and failed. You can connect the app directly to the cameras rather than through the hub, perhaps there is something that way.Video quality has been good, not sure if it is any worse than my door bell considering that has a 2K camera and these are just HD.Time will tell over battery life and I may/will update here once I know more.

Incredible and versatile camera system

So in my house I have security cameras from multiple systems - Canary, eBitcam, Blink, Ring, Xiaomi, and I'm sure I've missed out others. Most of them work with Alexa to varying degrees of success, but they all use different apps, so I have can't see what is happening in my home in an "all in one" view.So I wanted to consolidate into one (or as close to one) system, I was looking at the eufy architecture anyway (its the no monthly fee that does it for me), when Vine dropped me this C35 2-camera kit.It arrived in a small box, which had me worried, but, it was fine, inside were the two cameras, homebase, and other gubbins, including mounts and things.I won't bore you with the details, but this set was SO simple to set up, I suppose it helps if you've dealt with similar before, but read the instructions, watch some YouTube videos and you should be golden. It really is simple to set up.Footage from indoors is crystal clear on my phone, when using mobile data. My other cameras, the footage or live view is a bit fuzzy, its clear enough for faces and other details, but not on the same level as I was getting out of the eufy cameras. Now, the only outside camera I have is the Ring doorbell, it's fine in bright light, fantastic even, but at night time the footage and live view is awful. Grainy and lacks anything close to detail. Not so with the eufy. Yes, sure it's not a doorbell, but the outdoor images I was getting in day time and also at night were fantastic. Like it is clear.Apart from the image quality, the best thing is that it is subscription free. Yes, eufy do provide cloud storage at cost, BUT, you don't have to have this. HOWEVER, it does mean you'll need to invest in SD cards and the like if you want additional storage. This is a great setup, easy to install, easy to connect to, and I am in the process of swapping out all my cameras for eufys.

Good starter CCTV. Video only ok and battery power to consider

Brief version of this review...Pros- Nicely thought through, can all be kept local with no subscriptions. Detection seems promising so far.Cons- No instructions - just app guidance- Video is over sharpened to make it look sharper to newbies, but it just makes it harder to use when it's really important-------##Longer review.##For context...I'm a fan of Anker products generally (I’ve found their chargers and power banks great, for example). I also already run three Ethernet cameras on my home, accessed both through apps and connected to network storage and have worked in IT all my life.##Setup##There is a quick start guide in the box, only it's not. It's only the legally required/avoiding product liability warnings. There's nothing apart from a QR code about how to use the cameras.Using the QR code brings you to the Eufy app, and once you have that installed (for which you'll need to agree to their privacy and terms) you then have to add both the base unit (Homebase mini) and the cameras. The app and privacy information are across all of their products, so the policy takes a bit of wading through to find what you need (it seems relatively benign on a fast read) and you'll need to find your particular camera and base in the app to add it.But that's not too bad. There was a firmware update that was then needed for the hub. I'd added an SD card (which for me goes in upside down as the label faces towards the base of the unit) and that needed formatting. What I haven't figured out yet is how to attach the included stand/mount to the camera. The Eufy website is zero help.Whichever way you search for the camera model (general search or in support), it takes you to a sales page. If you scroll down, there is a section which is supposedly for instructions and manuals, but that just goes to an empty page. The videos link has a bunch of videos about other Eufy cameras. Given there’s a video on the Amazon page about connecting the cameras and mounting them, it’s a mystery why this is not on their own website.I was also interested in specs for the cameras. Specifically, it would be good to have some understanding of what the expected battery life is meant to be, but I can’t find that anywhere.Note that on Amazon, it says that batteries are required. No, they’re not, the cameras have inbuilt batteries of course, and the base is powered by USB (charger and cable in the box).Once the Homebase is installed, updated and ready, you then need to add the cameras. It asks whether to connect to your router or to the Homebase. Good question....but how am I supposed to know the answer? Given I have a Homebase here, I guess I'll connect to that, but they seem to expect you to be familiar with the Eufy way of doing things already. The process to add the cameras was pretty easy, however, and there are spoken prompts which reassure that things are happening.Once the camera was added and options selected (for how it detects and how much video it records, audio on/off, etc), it then has instructions for mounting. The instructions for the bit of the mount which connects to the back of the camera just say to install it. I’d tried this tentatively already but was worried that there was some trick I may have been missing and that I’d damage it if I was too forceful. Apparently not, just push firmly and it clicks in.Once that was all done, it showed a preview of the video and said to take the camera to its location whilst monitoring the signal level in the app. But first, another firmware update.##In Use##With that done and the other camera installed, I was ready to go. I set them up in the house at first and could check the video in the app with a slight delay, and could also see that detection appeared to be working.Frustratingly, as I looked through the app options, I found that the settings I had made for detection vs battery life and audio recording had not stuck (or had perhaps never been accepted by the camera). So I’d suggest double-checking those after you have the camera up and running. There are alarm options which include an alarm on the camera, flashing the camera's light and also the possibility of an alarm sound and voice on the base unit. The cameras can either store recordings on the camera (you’ll need to buy SD cards) or on the Homebase mini (again you’ll need an SD card) or, I think, both.No cloud subscription is required.I chose to store on the Homebase mini (storing recordings where an intruder could steal the card outside the property makes no sense to me. My other cameras store locally and then backup to my network server, and are then backed up offsite also.)The Homebase mini needs to be connected using an Ethernet cable to your network (typically to your router). That was a problem for me because when I last changed broadband, my router came with one fewer port, and I’m already short of ports. I have a hub and switch elsewhere to overcome this. I’ve ordered another so I can fully test these cameras...

Impressive cameras

Im very happy with my Eufy security Cameras (which I believe are a sub brand of Anker). Set up was a little fiddly but once done your all set to go. These have similar functions as the RIng security cameras. They have areas you can set to monitor (to avoid filming movement on the pavement or a neighbours garden), they are waterproof and have colour night vision and an app to control and monitor everything. The cameras are easy to install using the magnetic mounts/screws or ties. We have used the magnetic mounts and this will make it easy to recharge them when requiredThe main differences between these cams and Ring is there are no monthly fees. Everything is stored on a hub that is connected to wifi. I have put in a 512mb memory card to boost storage. These cameras also have A.I. facial recognition to stop false alerts of family members.

Excellent replacement devices!

Bought this setup plus a c31 and half a dozen S100 wall light cameras to replace an aging Netatmo setup and have found the setup, camera access, notifications, and app inferfaces to be flawless.

These stick up cameras were up and running (once charged) in under 5mins in the 2 locations (garden and internal garage) and work great.

Totally flawless so far!

Good product

Picture quality is very good. Set up is reasonably straightforward.
Deleting video is time consuming though as only 20 second clips.
In a busy coffee shop it’s recording all day. I think I may have bought the wrong product for what I wanted

Bargain :)
