Video Doorbell Chime Add-on Chime

When I bought this it said for Homebase 3, it works fine but you have to plug in a dongle into the usb port of the Homebase and I use the power port for a CPU fan on top of the Homebase to keep the hardwire cool.

However Eufy now say Homebase2 only, but it defo works for HB3.

Simple to set up, clear chime. Fitted to my elderly mother’s home where so now has no problem hearing the door bell.

Purchased to ensure we could hear the door bell in the extension. Brilliantly easy in terms of plug in to base unit and had it up and running straight away!!

It is very quiet for a doorbell and is delayed

Good chime, nice to have volume level adjustment and custom ring sounds. One thing I would add is to have the full selection of notifications sounds, the same as HomeBase. My favourite one called "Clock" is currently missing on this chime so I have a mismatch.

The product came in two parts, the dongle which easily plugged in to the hub and the chime unit which plugs into a normal 13a socket. This unit was simple to pair to the existing eufi system by pressing one button. I sited the chime in a discrete position and it worked well with my existing Eufi camera bell, very happy with the product.

Easy install, which only took a couple of minutes once I’d realised that you don’t add it to your HomeBase as a new device in the app, you go into your doorbell settings and add it as an additional indoor chime. Buttons on the sides control the 3 volume settings and 8 chimes (some of which are a bit cringe-worthy)! I found that on the loudest setting the sound gets a bit distorted and tinny, but the quietest setting is fine for where I’ve got it in the hallway.For info, I have a HomeBase 3 (S380) and a battery (S330) doorbell, and this add-on works absolutely fine with them.

Easysetup, just the item for your door bell.

I'm not hugely tech savvy, and just like things to work, simply, out of the box and do what I need!
This ticks all those boxes - simple to install and setup (we replaced an existing floodlight connection so the wiring was already in place), and worked perfectly immediately.
It has a great picture and sound quality - I can hear voices clearly from 40-50ft away. The motion detection is amazing, and when set top high will pick up every leaf that blows by!
Everything on it can be set to your liking - motion detection sensitivity, light on/off, recording length, whether you pick up human only or everything....it's great!
It alerts you to every motion it detects (obviously you can set this), and stores it's videos to an inbuilt memory card. Once full it overwrites. But you can download and keep any videos to us want to your phone. Definitely ideal for keeping you feeling safe and secure, or on neighborhood watch!

'- such a relief to have it, game changer if you have to little kids
- it saves us time we used to spend so much time hoovering 2-4 times a day
- sometimes it can’t find the ‘home’ it goes around the house like a drunk trying to find home but it finds it eventually
- you have to empty the dust compartment multiple times a day
- overall it is so much cleaner at home it was worth it'

After a recent break in attempt I’d had enough of the blink cameras constantly running out of battery so opted for this Eufy camera and I’ve got to say it’s amazing. The picture quality is 10 out of 10, the AI tracking is superb and the features are far superior to the blink camera option. Will change the door bell from Ring to eufy as well when that comes to the end of its life. Would highly recommend getting one of these.

After a lot of researching I finally decided to purchase this camera to work with Apple home and secure video.
There were lots of reviews that state this cannot be used with Apple home secure video. I took a chance and I’m glad I did because I can confirm, it does work.
I installed the Eufy app to install the camera.
I then paired it in the Home app.
I have since deleted the Eufy app and the camera feed is still live in the Home app.
You do loose some of the functions unfortunately, like the two way audio.
If you aren’t bothered about the Home secure video, you can retain the Eufy app and maintain all of the camera functions.
I looked at the two specific cameras recommended for Apple Home and because of the bad reviews I decided on the Eufy camera.
I’m glad I did. It’s a fraction of the cost and provides a good picture during day and night.
It’s a no brainer.
Will be buying more in the future.

After a recent scare my grandparents decided they wanted a video doorbell for their security and peace of mind. They aren’t very tech savvy so I did some research and purchased this one. It was very easy to install and I was able to download the app onto my grandparents’ phones and teach them to use it. It is simple enough where they feel comfortable with it. And I also have the app so I can access it in case of emergency. A huge relief and peace of mind for our whole family. Highly recommend!

See the first photo above: every time a light coloured van goes past I get a 'human alert' because the juxtaposition of van, my car in drive and round tree canopy looks like a head and shoulders! Once I'd got it to ignore that it then decided (photo 2) that the top left of the image (wall/underside of bay roof/rose bush) was a 'human' hourly for a few days. After a couple of weeks of careful tweaking its finally settled down and started to recognise things properly. And on the whole it works well, picking up 97% of people approaching the door (but annoyingly steadfastly refuses to pick up one of our 3 usual postmen who *never* triggers an alert).

Overall it works well and for me, being wheelchair bound, not having to rush to get to the door is a bonus!

After a recent housemove, it became apparent that two of my (now elderly) cats are suddenly afraid of the dark.

These were bought to line the stairs and help them find their way up to bed, and work a treat.

The remaining cat, the somewhat-bullied babycat, has discovered that if she sleeps right on front of one, the light will come on and wake her if anyone gets too close. This gives her a little time to get out of the way of her grouchy older siblings and has cut down on night time squabbles significantly (as well as being very cute).

The brightness of the lights on the stairs is not overly obtrusive - despite our room being at the top of the stairs, but is good enough to climb up without treading on anyone, or to see when your big sister is getting ready to pounce on your sleeping form. 10/10 would recommend for owners of freak cats.

... but that's the entire point of a hoover.

....they're absolutely perfect for satisfying my shoe fetish, getting to secretly vibe all over the postman's sick creps, i'm living the dream! Damn this doorbell was easy to setup alongside the homebase, good quality video and solid motion detection, works amazing as part of my home security system. No burgular is getting in my property, and if they do at least ill know EXACTLY what shoes they were wearing!!!

After a week of using this camera, I can tell you that for the price this camera is really in both the quality it records at and the app is very user friendly, I didn't want to pay for a cloud subscription so therefore this camera was the best option with a choice of using an sd or their cloud subscription. But overall for the price, I highly recommend it

After considering all alternatives, I decided to get this Eufy camera set+home base and I am really satisfied. The cameras give a good image quality on your mobile, and you can always connect and check the live feed. It has night vision too, which makes it possible to get a clear video in any situation. Its face recognition system makes it so the alarm only goes off if a human is seen, so you won't get an alert if anything irrelevant happens. You can still get a notification for a movement detected, so you can check in any case. Everything is controlled via the app, you can make your custom schedule so the alarm is on when you go to work and automatically turns off when you get back. Battery life for the wireless cameras is extremely good, I think in a year I only charged them once, and they were still about at half charge anyway. Set up is very easy, and takes a matter of minutes.

...and with no monthly fees! That's what I like most about the Eufy range. I saw a friends S350 camera and liked the quality along with the eco system so much, I bought the Homebase 3 and a total of 8 cameras. The build quality is amazing, the fact I can upgrade the storage with an internal SSD and then an external Archive is brilliant. Its small and sits out of the way on a shelf. The app is a breeze and a pleasure to navigate. The AI system works well and I even bought the doorbell E340 which notifies me of packages which is a great feature to have. Very happy customer!

...but I think they have a lot of improvement to make. The picture quality for the front view camera seems dulled compared to the porch view and the previous 2k camera I used. It looks like there's a film over the camera reducing the picture quality. I think this is something that might be fixed in an update as there's no obvious film I could see. Hope they do. Overall it's a good design, picks motion well and also very good at picking up parcels.

After having the same cameras for the last 5 years i have started to get new ones from Eufy, and bought 2 indoor cameras , The Eufy Security indoor camera E220 (P24)2K pan & tilt. i can not believe how good these cameras are, I can not find a single fault with them , setup up is really easy and picture is excellent and very well priced. I know where im going to get my new outdoor ones from ��

It looks like there's a film over the camera reducing the picture quality. I think this is something that might be fixed in an update as there's no obvious film I could see. Hope they do. Overall it's a good design, picks motion well and also very good at picking up parcels.

After having the same cameras for the last 5 years i have started to get new ones from Eufy, and bought 2 indoor cameras , The Eufy Security indoor camera E220 (P24)2K pan & tilt. i can not believe how good these cameras are, I can not find a single fault with them , setup up is really easy and picture is excellent and very well priced. I know where im going to get my new outdoor ones from ��
