This system really is excellent compared to my old eufy cameras which only record motion triggers of approximately 20s the overall quality of images is good , the only issue I had with mine was that one of the supplied poe cables had a broken/missing locking tab so I had to spend extra money to replace what I shouldn't have too , but I would say if it arrives in good order then its worth the money
I really can't praise the cameras on this kit enough! The tracking on them is unbelievable. The interface on the NVR system is very clear and easy to use. The only reason for 4 stars and not five, is purely down to how long it takes to open a video from when you get a notification on your phone, this is a very minor gripe and me been very picky!!
Now I’ve set it up it’s very clear in day and night.Easy to use.
Very good system the NVR and the camera are really good quality you get plenty of cable for each camera the view on the ptz camera is good and the auto tracking feature is good the turreng camera are good as well and you can see quite a wide angle with them as well over as a system is really good for a home set up slightly expensive but for the ease of setup is really good also the ai face tracking and all the other features it has makes it worth it the only ting which I do not like is that you cannot add non eufy cameras to it POE and also you cannot not add ONIVF protocol camera (WiFi) to the nvr but this is not a big deal as if you buy this system you can add on which I do recommend if you just need one more as it can create a stitch for dogy activities across all your camera and they all work along side each other they should add feathers where you can set off all the alarms off at once as well as the individual one it has got and also maby give the option to have once cable shorter and get that length add to another wire as one might be real close the nvr and the other one can be added to wire which there camera is really far as of yet the live view over web browser does not work but this is not a issues over all you will not be disappointed with what you gst
Amazing quality system, huge hard drive which accounts for a lot of the cost of the set. Great functionality and you can add two lots together so more cameras will cover a normal house. Great motion detection which you can change the sensitivity and reach of the cameras. Easy to use but had to get electrician to fit and set up.
Excellent customer support
Having an engineering factory within 100 meters of our semi, I often see suspicious vehicles parking up in the early hours searching for scrap metal and my house over looks this factory and fore court. I have been wanting to install a security camera on our house for a while and I decided to order this product. The product comes with everything you need to install the cameras, believe me eufy have thought of everything, even down to the camera installation stickers so I knew exactly where to drill without having to mark it all out. There is also outdoor ethernet and indoor depending on your installation. I installed all 4 cameras strategically around my property and connected the NVR system.I then connected the NVR system to my router which enables me to have wifi access. The NVR system is a truly game changing piece of equipment it is easy to navigate and really powerful and has cool features like face recognition and threat detection. It also allows me to take control of the cameras in real time. The cameras are also amazing particularly the bullet cameras that zooms in at high quality, also, the night vision is excellent.I have only had the product installed 2 weeks so there is still much to learn about the product but having a large young family at home, I feel safer, and I also believe the presence of the cameras also act as a deterrent particularly high tech cameras such as these.Wonderful product absolutely recommneded.
Well, a very professional CCTV camera system that is very handy for anyone.Pack contains 2TB Hard Drive unit that can be upgraded to 16tb and can connect up to 8 cameras at once, 2 fixed cameras, 2 movable bullet cameras, 4x 18m ethernet cables, 1 mouse, power supply cable, hdmi cable, mounting brackets with screws and instructions manual.Installation is relatively easy, the only hard thing to do is to find the best way to pull the cables. To do the job, a ladder and a drill is required, if concerned about height it may be better to hire a professional. A good thing is that, the internet cable is used for both, to power and connect the camera to the hub, so extra power supply isn't necessary. The images are brilliant, very clear even on nights plus if the camera light is turned on the image is colourful. The movable camera can be turned 360°, so there is quite hard to miss a spot.To use all the features, the eufy app must be installed on your phone or used the mouse if connected to a tv or monitor. The best feature for me is that, I can select an activity zone and I will only receive notification when motion is detected in that zone.Price, £657 with 27% off, at the moment of the review may look high but this kit is really good quality and sturdy. I like it.
Trusted brand.Well-made system.Clear instructions.Relatively easy to set up.Video quality is good.
I have to admit that I am a dinosaur when it comes to technical products, so my partner actually set up this system up for us! I would not have been able to do it myself as it involves mounting cameras high up and drilling holes to run ethernet cables inside the house, so if you are not able to do it yourself I suggest getting a qualified tradesperson to do it as you want it set up correctly in the first place given that this is a considerable investment! My partner, however, had no problems and is impressed with the build quality – and in fact everything about the system. The bullet upper cameras have a 16mp image sensor that captures video in 4k resolution and the lower PTZs have twin 2k lenses. The lower ones can rotate a full 360 degrees and tilt up to 70 degrees with automatic tracking to follow and zoom in on a person who moves within their field of view. Together they form the ‘tri cam’ system which eliminates blind spots, which is particularly important with a security system. The cameras are IP65 weather rated so should withstand the British weather, and for nighttime coverage they use starlight colour night vision and HDR processing to capture footage even in low light. When they detect movement the spotlight can activate to enhance visibility – very useful for identifying people or licence plates, and they also flash warning lights, which are a deterrent. There is 2TB of local storage (which can be expanded to 16TB) and built in AI that handles detection and tracking without relying on the cloud. While the system is managed mainly through the Eufy app or web interface, it also supports voice control via Alexa and Google Assistant.Installation isn’t difficult if you know what you are doing, but it’s more involved than setting up battery-powered Wi-Fi cameras.Once you have chosen your camera locations, you mount the camera brackets and mount the cameras to them, and feed the ethernet cables through your drilled holes. You connect the other end of the cables to the NVR.Configuring the system to work is easy (according to my partner!!). The NVR automatically detects the connected cameras, and you can access the system through a monitor, the Eufy app, or via Eufy’s web portal. The Eufy Security app lets you customise detection by type—human, vehicle, pet, or general motion—and choose how and when you’re notified, with options for thumbnails, alert tones, and recording intervals. At the current price of around £800 the system isn’t cheap, but it does deliver very high quality and reliability. The other big advantage is that you get local control and no subscription fees, which can really mount up.All in all, we are very pleased with the system which is perfect for our needs. It is handy to know that you can expand the system to 16 cameras, although we will never need that many, but it is good to know if someone has a very large property. I think that it is expensive, but you can’t put a price on security, so I think it is worth paying a bit extra for peace of mind.
Arrived safely and quickly with amazon's excellent service.Everything was well presented beautifully in the boxes. These moving cameras are absolutely quality. All cameras have the best images and super level zoom.Recording is done with suppled unit with hard drive.. installation is easy to follow with guide instruction booklet. Please note these are powered cameras with all required cables for connection. Both day time and during the night vision is top quality. This has to be the best security system I have had the pleasure to use.If you are looking for security for your home or business you have come to the right page. I definitely do recomend this system as quality comes with the price you pay.Completely motion detectionVery highly recommendedAnd for security this is value for money.
This is a very solid system that has quality components in each aspect of the system. Easy to install and use this is excellent , good value for money and provides outstanding security with very good connectivity.
I haven't had chance to properly fully install this system yet but I have assembled it and tried it out without drilling holes in my walls to properly fit the cables etc. The draw for me on this system is the multi camera tracking, power over ethernet (meaning only 1 cable to install which carries video, data and power for the cameras) and the large hard drive base unit which allows the system to record a lot of high quality footage. The cameras themselves are impressive, using the different lenses they can accurately track and zoom in on subjects allowing you to record highly detailed and accurate footage of people and vehicles. In addition to the auto tracking you can control the camera yourself to look at specific things going on and zoom in to record detail.Connectivity is first class, through an app or directly through the base unit. The app is intuitive and allows you to view live video, move the cameras and view recorded events. Events can be configured to record a range of information and the privacy setting allows you to block out areas that are not to be included in the recorded video.Overall the system is very versatile, the PTZ control of the cameras and multiple lenses means you need fewer cameras installed to cover a wide area. The power over ethernet simplifies installs by using only 1 cable for video, data and power. The build quality of the cameras is solid and combined with good strong mounts the system feels like it will last a long time. Control and viewing via the app is intuitive, quickly and easily view or control recordings. Overall I would say this is a high end system for home or commercial use.
The eufy NVR Security System S4 comes with 4 cameras: 2 turret cams and 2 bullet cams. All cameras capture full-colour high-resolution footage. Each turret cam has the impressive ability of recording from two directions at once (the upper lens is in a fixed housing, but the dual lower lens can rotate and tilt to track movement whilst the auto-framing feature keeps the subject centred). The cams' housings and mounts are reassuringly robust. Every cam features a microSD card slot with weatherproof cover, so microSD cards can be used as local backup storage if desired. Each cam has built-in speakers and mic, allowing two-way communication. Sound quality isn't perfect, but it's fit for purpose. The S4 set includes a 2TB hard drive in a dedicated NVR (Network Video Recorder) enclosure, with space to expand storage up to 16TB. Heavy-duty waterproof cables are also included, as are fixtures and fittings, so buyers don't have to go shopping for extras after the set arrives. Everything that's needed is included. The system has a built-in alarm which consists of flashing bright red and blue lights accompanied by a shrill siren - a combination that's sufficient to deter most would-be intruders. The S4 system also features impressive AI motion tracking and cross-camera tracking. AI detection makes it easy for S4 users to review who was in the vicinity of a property within any selected timeframe. A daily security report shows how many "events" were captured on a given day, as well as breaking this total down to display how many of these events involved humans, how many involved pets, and how many involved vehicles.Video quality is impressive. By default, all footage is captured in full colour, even at night. Other night video recording modes are available, giving users flexibility to choose the mode that best suits their needs. The NVR can be connected to a computer monitor or smart TV in order to view camera footage on a large screen, which is by far the best way of viewing it.With the eufy app installed on your smartphone and/or laptop, you can use those devices to remotely see what your eufy cameras are viewing in real time. You can also remotely control the cams via the app, as well as reviewing historical recorded footage. This S4 system makes excellent use of AI (how many products can that truthfully be said about?). The two main benefits of the NVR's onboard AI are: (1) tracking of people/pets/vehicles that venture within your property's boundary; (2) easy reviewing of recorded video via text prompts which the AI uses in order to display relevant video. This is far from the cheapest security system on the market, but it's one of the best and is worth every penny.
The eufy Security PoE NVR CCTV Camera System S4 is a robust, hard-wired security system ideal for homes or businesses. The kit includes a base station, four cameras with 18m ethernet cables, a mouse, and an HDMI cable. While a few cable ties would have been a welcome addition for tidier installation, the system comes with all the necessary plugs and screws for mounting.Setup is a straightforward, six-step process. Once the base station is connected to a monitor and network, you simply plug in the cameras via a single Power over Ethernet (PoE) cable, which handles both data and power. A quick firmware update to the base station and app pairing via QR code gets you setup and running quickly. I would set it up on a table before you start wiring things permanently. The base station especially has a short power lead. The base station features a built-in 2TB hard drive for 24/7 video storage, ensuring your footage is private and secure without the need for a subscription. The system constantly records, allowing you to easily scroll back through footage on a connected monitor. For additional features and smart alerts, the excellent Eufy Security app allows for remote live streaming and control of the cameras. The base station can support up to eight cameras, making it easily expandable. My pack included two fixed-angle 4K cameras with a wide 122-degree field of view and two combination cameras. These cameras feature both a wide-angle lens and a steerable 2K lens with an 8x optical zoom. All cameras provide bright, smooth video in both daylight and at night. They deliver clear, full-Color video in low-light conditions without the need for bright LED indicators. The cameras also have a built-in microphone for audio playback, which streams to the monitor or app.The user interface is intuitive, with a clear and bright display. Alerts are fast and responsive, appearing on your phone almost instantly. For wider coverage, the system can be seamlessly integrated with other wireless eufy cameras through the app.
This system has been impressive from the start. The setup was straightforward, and with the included 2TB drive, it’s ready to go out of the box. The PoE connection makes things tidy and reliable, with no need to worry about separate power supplies for each camera. The cameras themselves are excellent and extremely fast and stable due to the ethernet connection. The PTZ units provide full coverage and track movement very effectively, while the turret cameras give a solid, fixed view with great clarity. Even at night, the picture quality remains sharp, which makes a big difference compared to older systems I’ve used.Overall, it’s a well-rounded and dependable setup. The combination of smart features, reliable recording, and clear footage makes it a strong recommendation for anyone after a home or office CCTV system.
Wired camera system.Eufy wired camera system- no fees after purchase.Eufy four camera system. The system comes with everything you need to set it up in the box, the system itself pretty much sets itself up , you scan the codes and it does everything for you.The hard part is actually wiring the system In and putting the cameras up, even then it’s not that this is difficult it’s just you need to drill it in place and then run the wires along to the hub. We did find that we needed to buy some mini trunking to hide the cables.Ready to go.When everything is set up and ready to go I can honestly say that this is the easiest camera system I’ve had to navigate around. The app is really good, easy to understand and easy and clear on how to get to what you want to see.Picture quality. We’ve had a solar eufy system and a couple of their rechargeable doorbells, in place previously, this is a few years old now and I can see the improvement on what was already a very good system. The picture is really clear- come on my property and I will see you clearly no matter what the light level now.I can clearly make out facial features, clothing colour and identifying brands/logos, all the things you will be asked for if you need to report anything.Running the system.I get real time alerts to my phone, I can tailor these to what I want to see, I don’t need to see next doors cat so I set trigger only when a person is seen for example.Motion detection. You can set up zones to trigger a recording, if you live in a high traffic area and don’t need to see everything and everyone walking by outside your property you simply set up to record in a boundary you choose- this is, once again, really easy to set up and it’s clear how to do it.The motion can be set to recognise if it’s a person moving and not a fox/cat etc so you don’t get unnecessary recordings. It can also be set as to how sensitive you want it to be.Security.You need to display that you have a security system in place and recording people entering your property to keep things right legally the sticker in your window is all that needs.Fees.The initial outlay ( and some mini trunking if you want to hide wires) is it, no monthly fee or direct debit to set up. I fell that every system should be like this that you should not have to pay to store and access your data. It’s also much better value for more long term.Storage2TB is a lot of storage, if your system is likely to trigger a lot you can easily wipe unneeded data and get storage back, I can’t see me every running out of space.Size.The home base is the size of a games console, it’s flat and can be stored away discreetly. The cameras are white, small but visible on the walls, I like that that can be seen as it’s a deterrent in itself, but if you want to place them where they are not so visible go higher up and you don’t really notice them.Wired vs solar.Solar was quicker to set up and had a lot of benefits, but in the winter with shorter days there were times that the battery got worryingly low and I had to reduce the sensitivity to save power, this doesn’t have that worry. The wired systems cameras are constantly running with no worrying about loss of power. It just feels like a more professional system with more control over things.
I recently installed the eufy PoE NVR Security System and have been impressed with its advanced features and local processing so far. It far exceeded my expectations, but for this high end price tag I should have expected nothing less. The system includes two bullet cams and two turret cams, each combines a 4K wide-angle lens (122° field of view) with a 2K PTZ module capable of 360° pan and 8× hybrid zoom. This setup offers both broad coverage and detailed tracking up to 164 ft away. The night vision is also solid thanks to three modes: infrared, starlight colour for low light, and spotlight with HDR for high-detail capture. The included NVR runs powerful local AI, that recognises people, cars, pets, and strangers. It supports smart video search for quick keyword queries (like “package” or “red car”), and enables AI-driven cross-cam tracking so subjects are followed seamlessly between camerasSetup is straightforward: a single Power-over-Ethernet cable per camera handles both power and video. The system comes with a 2 TB hard drive for 24/7 recording and supports expansion up to 16 TB. You can also scale to up to 16 cameras if needed which is more than I will ever need, but fantastic to know that is a feature should anyone need it.One of the best aspects is local storage and AI: no cloud subscription fees and higher privacy protectionIf privacy, smart local processing, and scalable, high-quality surveillance matter to you, then this system is a remarkable choice. The combination of wide and zoom views, plus intelligent tracking, makes it a standout. However, this comes at the expense of installation flexibility... running Ethernet might not suit every home. And if you rely on HomeKit or want to mix camera brands, it won’t fit those needs. It is excellent for secure, smart, and private home surveillance, and great if you’re comfortable with PoE and eufy’s ecosystem, just be aware that there is some skill involved in set up, and having ethernet cables trailing through the house may not be for everyone. My old system which used solar powered rechargeable wireless cameras may be a better fit for you.
This is an impressive camera security system. Two pan, tilt and zoom cameras, and two fixed position cameras which feed into a central unit with a 2TB hard drive, which means you can get full crystal clear coverage around your house. The system is very simple to set up. Simply plug in the hard drive unit, connect it to your router, connect it to a monitor or TV, plug in the mouse (supplied), and plug in your cameras. Each camera comes with an appropriate mounting bracket so the camera can be mounted on a wall, or a horizontal surface, such as under the rim of a roof. Each camera is PoE (Power over Ethernet) so while they do have a separate power socket, you don't need to use it (no idea what that's for actually). As soon as you plug a camera in, it appears in the hard drive unit's software. The HDD itself takes very little setting up. Just a few setup questions to answer (all doable via the mouse and monitor) and you're ready to start recording. As I'm not ready to start drilling holes all over my house right now, I just tested it with one camera in the lounge, but the picture was perfectly clear and there were even notifications coming up on the TV screen when it detected my movement. My main issue at the moment is working out how exactly to use it. Ideally I want to have one on the pan cameras at the back, possibly one down the side of my house, and the two fixed cameras on the back. The problem is where to place the HDD unit to cause the least disruption, as this still means having ethernet cables trailing all around the house. The set comes with four cables which are eighteen metres long each, but I'm not sure that will be adequate if I have to go upstairs, or through/around doors. I've read conflicting information that you can or can't daisy-chain ethernet cables, with some people saying never to do it at all, others saying you can as long as you use good quality connectors, and others saying you can but never over 100m. I need to do some more research before I actually try to wire this in.Currently I have a Wi-Fi based Eufy system and to be honest that's a lot easier, with no drilling required (apart from mounting the cameras to the wall in the first place) and I've not had a problem with the feed dropping out since I've had it.I did also read that you can connect these cameras to your Eufy app, but again I've not tried that yet as I don't want to overcomplicate things before I'm ready.£799 (at the time of writing with an 11% discount, £899 RRP) is a lot of money to spend on a security system and there are a lot of choices out there so make sure you do your research before you commit to anything. As long as what I've described sounds suitable for your needs then this is most likely a very good system to go with. It was very simple to set up and use, though I cannot comment on prolonged use or nighttime use as of yet.

Best camera
Great camera top quality
- 5 stars: 20 (83%)
- 4 stars: 3 (13%)
- 3 stars: 1 (4%)
- 2 stars: 0 (0%)
- 1 star: 0 (0%)
