The projector itself is beautiful, soundcore were excellent on delivering etc. my only gripe is the projector kept turning to a black screen after about 30 seconds of use. I think it’s software related, so have completed the update and manually set my screen size etc. it seems better but I’ll have to see it out before I score any differently. I want to love it though; the picture is brilliant.

Good hardware, good picture, good sound. Clever and functional auto keystone. But the whole thing is let down by the awful operating system. It seems like Google TV has been shoehorned into an underpowered device and it's painful to use. Entire features don't work. Pairing with an external audio system over bluetooth is almost impossible and you can't cast to the projector without the entire Google TV ecosystem. When you do, the audio lag is more than the built-in adjustment allow and you're left with out of sync everything - all of the suggested fixes online don't work at all. It's awful! The supplied firmware was unusable and needed upgrading before anything worked at all. Also a disappointingly dull picture, and no, it's not in eco mode. Fine when plugged in via HDMI, but that's not what I want it for!

The sound is great too, and it does work about 2.5 hours on battery. I use it for watching movies / YouTube / playing video games. Best purchase I made this year!

Mainly used to cast from phone/laptop, so built-in chromecast (google tv) a major selling point.Worked as expected initially, then began to lag, badly. BBC iplayer unwatchable, stuttering every 3-4 seconds. Factory reset didn't help and nor did suggestions from Anker support. NB: works fine with an old chromecast plugged into the hdmi - but rather defeats the point of built-in google tv.Anker support were responsive initially, but now say their engineers are working on it and a fix may take time - without being any more specific. Escalating my issue via Anker has produced no response. They've not suggested a replacement, which suggests it's not a rogue unit, rather a design issue with this model.I quite like the projector otherwise, so if you don't need to cast it may be ok for you - hence the 3 stars.If I hear from Anker I'll update this review. Super impressed and no regrets with the purchase.I did buy a case for storage as this will be mobile - it holds the projector, remote control and power supply.I also bought a small tripod to hold the projector which was a good investment.

Bloody amazing. I use this to project movies onto the side of my Luton van when we go camping. With hindsight, Saw II was probably a bad choice during the school holidays, but the reds were particularly vibrant and this was pointed out more than once by some of the other campers.

A little on the expensive side but worth it for quality projector. Can use anywhere just need WiFi, battery life good, and without the wire's associated with a TV. Lightweight and compact. Not use outside yet.

We got a 150-foot screen to test its limits and it fills it up beautifully, from corner to corner of crisp, clear picture (when my WiFi is at its best, anyway.) I’m an Apple TV user, so I had to get used to the new interface and remote control, but they’re intuitive and easy to navigate. People complain about the battery life, but we haven’t had an issue there. We just set up the projector near an outlet (or use a big ol extension cord). I also love the compact size — it resembles a cute little lunch box, so it packs away so easily when we’re through.

Currently projecting onto the ceiling and the picture is bright and clear with a darkened room.The sound is also really good from the built in speakers.Haven't tested other conditions yet, but so far very pleased with the quality, ease of use and size of the projector.

This projector is basically the “laptop” of the projector world: you’re paying for portability and ease of setup rather than the highest brightness. But for what it is, it’s fantastic. The menus are snappy—much faster than some other projectors I’ve used—and the battery life lets me set up an outdoor movie anywhere. Overall, it’s been a great experience.

The built in Google TV on this unit can be very laggy and sometimes I need to reboot it for better performance. Also - focusing can be very difficult if it is at an angle from the wall.

Connects to wifi, can use Google TV and streaming, and the sound is pretty good. I love the way you can just turn it on and point it vaguely at a screen and it auto focuses and sets its keystone.I’m sure there are nerdy people for whom the specs aren’t quite up there. But for most people this would be an excellent choice for the money.Bought with a large discount so all in all very happy.

It will autofocus and determine the size of the screen you have it going to.Cons: once you get around the cost, it really really struggles to connect sound to this projector and won’t connect to two different speakers at once. This makes it difficult to use in some places. We configured it differently with our hot tub setup but it would have been nice if it would do what we purchased it for especially with the price.

This makes it difficult to use in some places. We configured it differently with our hot tub setup but it would have been nice if it would do what we purchased it for especially with the price.
