Upgraded from an X8 Hybrid . Have been really pleased with with the cleaning and mopping function on this new machine until this weekend when I noticed it was leaving dirty water drips on the floor which subsequently dried white and dusty. Took Hoover apart and fully washed roller to ensure it was clean which it was. Changes the app setting to remove AI and the clean and mop function improved and no dirty water appeared on floor. Generally this is a really fab machine.
What a difference it's made we have clean floors everyday. It's quiet when running and the dogs don't seem bothered by it.
Great vacuum
This is excellent, I really love it it doesn’t deep clean as well as you would manually but for keeping on top of a busy household it’s wonderful
Fantastic product. Simple to setup and use.
So far it’s been amazing and as easy to set up as unpack the box and switch it on.Very clever tech. However you will need to set up boundaries or we found it out side cleaning the patio which was 🤣
Brilliant, great machine to have. Does a great job.
I like it now I've finally managed to map it & put the right selections of cleaning for my tiled floors. I haven't used it on a carpet floor yet so i can't comment.
Robot vacuum cleaner model E25 from Eufy .This robotvac is just everything you would need to clean your floors in one multi tasking model.. One of those products that you think will never really live up to the description but absolutely nails it .Made by Eufy, a company with a great reputation for producing top quality robotvacs - this particular model is quite large but with more cleaning power in speed , pressure and suction than any I’ve used before. It’s easy to set up , download the app and set the vac off to map the floor area of your home before starting its first clean , blocking off any areas you don’t want it to cover .From the app you can set up different cleaning modes for different rooms, scheduled cleaning with notifications and updates from the vac as it cleans such as returning to the station to empty or recharge .There’s a 3L dust bag which is only about half full after 3-4 weeks of vacuuming, so a huge capacity, and it’s been really noticeable that there’s been no build up of dust due to the daily clean .I’m particularly impressed with how it copes with different surfaces moving from floorboards to rug or carpet with powerful suction picking up pet fur and hair without getting tangled and brushing right into the corners and edges of the rooms. On full charge it will do 3 or 4 full sweeps of downstairs at around half an hour each- if the battery gets low it goes back to base to recharge and when ready will continue where it left off.Where this model is different is the all in one station where it cleans mop heads and dries with heated air so there are no funky odours . There’s a 2.5l water tank that also covers 3 or 4 full ground floor mops.A full cleaning schedule is suggested to regularly keep the brushes , rollers, filters etc clean and in good working order . It’s worth doing a good job of this to prevent future problems. When I ordered I struggled to find accessories and replacement filters, brushes etc but now they are readily available just when I need them . Something Eufy does really well is support products.Smart , clean and pretty quiet when running - it’s a time saving and very efficient Robotvac. Love it .
Great little robot vacuum. We have no complaints after couple of months of usage. Have it setup to vacuum night time. do half the house twice a week, and the other half twice a week.Suction: seems good enough for daily use.Mopping: positively surprised.Ease of use: setting up easy, replacing water easy,Cleaning easy. Very little gets tangled.Connectivity; their own app great. Matter support, connected to Apple Home.My last vacuum I had to go through and clean after every single use, sometimes multiple times in a single day. This one I clean base station and vacuum every 3rd week (every 12th use) and could probably do it less often
First week impressions look good. I see that out of the box I am getting about 95% of the floor space vacuumed/mopped. There is a need to add some old fashioned manual effort after the robot is done if you want it done properly. As a helper, it works great and I am happy with the decision so far.
Great piece of kit. Really simple to set up.
I am writing this review seven months after purchase. The good news is that the E25 is a very clever machine, rarely gets stuck, does an excellent job of vacuuming and mopping and the app is easy to use. (If you have a dog I recommend programming the dust box to empty every 15 minutes.)Unfortunately it is so clever and complex that things go wrong that cannot easily be repaired. Our first machine failed after six months with a burnt out wheel motor. Eufy customer service were excellent replacing everything quickly. Sadly the replacement machine had a dodgy laser and that had to go back too. Now onto our third E25 which is currently working well. However once 12 month warranty on the original machine expires you are effectively on your own.I did a post on a Eufy facebook page asking how long their machines were lasting. Basic models fared best, but need more attention. Few E25s seem to last much more than 12 months. If you are fine paying effectively £50pm for a robot cleaner to keep your floors spotless (ours automatically runs three times a week and largely looks after itself) then it is a good buy. Facebook responses indicate that other brands are no more reliable. These are compact, complex items that take some knocks as they move about. But it is wise to realistic about the probable lifespan of this item.If anyone has an E25 that has lasted significantly longer than a year, please post a response to this review - I live in hope that number 3 will go the distance!
I'm 80 years old, disabled, not able to do housework anymore, my son purchased this for me, best gift I've ever received, Robot sweeps, cleans and dries my floors everyday, what a tonic that is, thank you so much ****
I am incredibly happy with being able to test this Eufy robovac. They are well known for delivering great products at a reasonable price, and this one is no different. Over £600 sounds like a lot, but with the number of features, usability, convenience and performance, you can see where the money has gone. The suction power is on a different level to my old Eufy, allowing it to do an admirable job on carpets as well as hard flooring. Once it works out the layout with its efficient mapping, it transitions smoothly, leaving the vacuum to do its work while we sleep upstairs. The mopping system works reliably and is ideal for our kitchen, which leads directly into the living and reception rooms. The mop also does not seem to get carpeted areas wet, thanks to a clever lifting system. With girls in the house, hair gets everywhere, but the brush remains tangle free and easy to manage. Edge and corner cleaning performance is very strong, only missing the extreme corners and tight angles. The best thing about this system is that it empties itself and also cleans out the dirty water. Of course, you will need to empty the station eventually, but you only need to do this every fortnight or month depending on how dirty or large your home is.In terms of drawbacks, yes the price is high, but you do get what you pay for. You also have support for local repairs, which is a great fallback if anything goes wrong. The emptying station is rather large, so you will need a good amount of space for it to park and operate. You still need to maintain it in terms of filters and general upkeep. It can be a little noisy on max mode, but after about 2 to 3 weeks of regular cleaning we have barely needed it, as running it every other day keeps dirt from building up. The only thing this is missing is legs to walk itself upstairs to do the bedrooms, but that is probably asking a bit too much.
As I’ve always wanted a little helper for vacuuming and mopping the floors, I decided to try the Eufy E25 robot vacuum. The robot arrived well packaged with clear instructions on how to get started. The initial setup was fairly straightforward, although a bit time-consuming, as it involved assembling the unit, downloading the app, connecting it to Wi-Fi and mapping the house. That said, this is fairly standard for a smart device of this kind.Once set up, the mapping process went smoothly and the first clean began. I was really impressed with how versatile the app is, allowing you to create multiple floor maps, as well as set no-go and no-mop zones, which proved especially useful around rugs in my home.Shortly after setup, the robot received several updates that unlocked additional features, such as tracked water levels and improved AI mapping. There is also a manual mapping option, although I didn’t need to use it.I was particularly impressed that the robot can lift itself slightly to cross room thresholds, allowing it to move between rooms without issue. The retractable arms were also very useful, especially in corners where the robot can now reach more effectively.Maintenance is minimal thanks to the self-emptying function, which is the loudest part of the process, as well as automatic clean water refilling, dirty water collection in a separate tank, and mop drying. The mop drying cycle does take a couple of hours, but it mainly produces a gentle background white noise.Another great feature is how customisable the app is. I’ve been able to set cleaning schedules for when I’m out of the house, so I can return to a freshly cleaned home. The robot can also be controlled remotely, and I particularly like the option to schedule charging during off-peak electricity hours to save on costs.Deep cleaning the unit itself is also very simple. All parts are easy to remove, and the app provides step-by-step video guides for maintenance. As I have a dog with medium-length hair, I was pleased to see that hair doesn’t get tangled in the brushes.Overall, I’m very happy with this robot vacuum. It keeps my floors clean with very little effort. At its current price of around £630, it’s a very capable device, though it probably makes the most sense in a larger home where you can fully take advantage of its features.
I bought this to replace a 10-year old Roomba 900 series. Overall this is very good. It cleans a large open plan ground floor living space with a kitchen really well although it does take a couple of hours. I’m impressed that it identifies hard surface and rugs well so they are tested differently and you don’t end up with a soggy rug.The only problem so far is that it doesn’t seem to be able to judge height effective all the time. When it mapped the house it was smart enough not to go through the French windows but during its first cleaning job it decided to venture out. It then fell down the steps into the garden on its back. Out of precaution I only use it with the doors and french windows closed.
Brilliant little worker, such an upgrade from my previous one. I wasn’t expecting it to however it will not take deeply bedded German Shephard hair out of thick carpet but if you are needing it to clean hard floors and help with carpets, it’s brilliant!
Between two young kids dropping crumbs and a 10-year-old lionhead rabbit shedding constantly, keeping our floors clean is a never ending battle. I’ve owned a few mid-range robot vacuums over the years to help keep on top of the daily maintenance but have yet to try a super premium product. The difference in performance and convenience is genuinely night and day.Straight out of the box, you can feel the build quality. The base station is substantial, and the setup through the Eufy app is very straightforward. On its maiden voyage, it maps out your floor plan while cleaning. The first run isn't flawless; it misses the odd spot as it figures out the room; but the maps continuously improve as the robot learns its way around. The raw cleaning performance is where this justifies its price tag. The 20,000 Pa suction makes light work of embedded dirt and rabbit hair on the rugs. But the mopping functionality is the real star. Instead of just dragging a damp cloth around, the system continuously scrubs the floor with downward pressure, actually shifting dried-on kitchen spills. The all-in-one base station then takes over, automatically emptying the dustbin, dispensing detergent, and washing and drying the mop pads so you aren't left with a damp, musty smell. The good bits;- The DuoSpiral brushes actually work. If you have pets or long haired family members, you no longer have to sit there with scissors cutting tangled knots off the rollers.- The transition between surfaces is seamless. When it detects a rug, it completely lifts the mopping pads out of the way so it doesn't leave damp patches on your carpets.- The automated dock empties the 3L dust bag (which lasts over two months apparently) and handles all the mop washing. The water tanks are large and transparent, making it very easy to see when a top-up is needed.- The CornerRover arm extends outwards to grab dust from tight wall edges and baseboards that most round robots completely miss. The not so good;- Despite the onboard camera, the hit detection can be surprisingly poor. It completely failed to recognise a pet bowl, bashed into it, and dragged spilled liquid across the floor. You definitely need to set manual 'no-go' zones in the app for things like that.- Once it returns to the dock, the drying time for the mop pads is rather long winded and can be a bit noisy if you are in the same room.- A minor annoyance, but the top faceplate just sits loosely on the unit and feels like it should attach much more securely.- At £849, it is a massive investment and sits near the top end of the market.Overall, this isn't going to completely replace a manual deep clean with a hard floor mop and upright vacuum, but it drastically reduces how often you need to do one. If you have the budget and a busy household tracking dirt through the house, it is a fantastic, time-saving investment.
The eufy E25 Omni is awesome 😎 👍🏼 it's a premium, high-performance smart cleaning solution that combines 20,000 Pa suction power with an advanced mopping system. The vacuum comes with an all-in-one base station that washes, dries, and empties the unit, so it can be as self-sustaining as possible. With its excellent range and versatile set of cleaning options that you can configure via the eufy app, this vas a lot going for it!👇My Experience👇Unrivaled Suction Power: The raw cleaning performance of this vacuum is incredible. At 20,000 Pa, it's excellent on both hard floors and thick carpets, lifting deep-set dust, pet dander, and embedded dirt mostly first time. It easily handles deep-pile rugs that leave standard robot vacuums struggling, without being super noisy.Heavy-Duty HydroJet Mopping: The mopping functionality is a massive step up from traditional drag-along pads. The HydroJet system constantly refreshes the mop fabric while applying continuous downward pressure to the floor. It acts more like an automated floor scrubber, effortlessly shifting stubborn, dried-on muddy footprints and kitchen spills rather than just wiping over them.Smart Carpet Detection & Mop Lifting: Transitioning between room surfaces is seamless. The moment the E25 detects a carpeted area, it automatically lifts its mopping pads completely out of the way, allowing it to transition from hard wood to a rug without leaving damp patches behind.True Zero-Tangling Brushes: If you share your home with long-haired family members or pets, the DuoSpiral Brushes are a huge help. They actively prevent hair from tightly wrapping around the rollers, meaning you don't have to constantly sit there with a pair of scissors cutting tangled knots away from the mechanism.Precision Edge and Corner Cleaning: Thanks to the CornerRover Arm, the robot doesn't leave the usual missed strips along baseboards. The arm extends into corners and tight wall edges.Ultimate All-In-One Base Station: The automated dock is great. After a cleaning cycle, it automatically empties the robot's dust bin into a 3L bag (which lasts around 75 days before needing a swap). It then washes the mop pads with clean water and dries them thoroughly to prevent damp odours and bacteria from building up.Conclusion...At £849, the eufy E25 Omni is a significant investment, but it justifies its price tag by tackling two of the biggest pain points of robot vacuums: poor mopping pressure and constant hair tangles. It's hugely customizable, durable and quick to learn and improve how it cleans your space - a great investment for busy households.
Reliable, efficient vacuuming and mopping. Easy to programme and use. It's a bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for. I want Eufy to produce a staircase attachment, please.
I've owned a few robot vacuums over the years and I don't think I could be without one now! The E25 looks great and I really love it.When you first get it, take the time to go through the setup in the Eufy app and clear the floors before sending it off to create its first map. The initial mapping only happens once, but the maps continue to improve over time as the robot learns its way around your home. This model both vacuums and mops, and there are loads of options in the app to customise how you want it to clean. You can set schedules, choose specific rooms, adjust suction levels and even tell it to vacuum throughout the house before returning to mop hard floors afterwards. What I particularly like about this robot is the roller mop system. The robot continuously cleans the mop while it's working and then the dock washes and dries it at the end of the clean, which helps avoid that damp, musty smell that some mopping systems can develop. The cleaning solution bottle is included too and once fitted the machine automatically dispenses what it needs. This is definitely a considered purchase rather than an impulse buy, but it's one of those gadgets that quickly becomes part of everyday life. It cleans up really well and the battery does hold up well to a full ground floor clean and I certainly wouldn't want to go back to not having one!
The first thing you see when you open the box is a clear, well-illustrated guide for the initial set-up. The second part is done through the app, which I found to be very straightforward. The first time the robo-vac sets off, it also maps out the floor. You can edit the map manually once it's done, split it into separate rooms, set boundaries, mark areas with carpets (if it hasn't auto-detected them already), and of course, set schedules.I was surprised to see it overcome a thin rug without getting stuck. Though initially, I did test it with a thick rug and, as expected, it did get stuck (you can always set the area as out of bounds).Whilst the performance wasn't perfect, it did an impressive job. About 99% of the floor afterwards was debris-free. The areas it somewhat struggled to remove debris from were:1) Rugs (but to be fair, my upright vacuum struggles with rugs too).2) Corners (a bit hit or miss, as some corners it handled fine and others not so much).During operation, I didn't think it was overly loud, and it wouldn't affect me if it were cleaning in the middle of the night, though others may disagree. The best thing is to set a schedule that suits you, be it early morning or during the day when you're out.I don't think this robo-vac completely replaces a standard vacuum cleaner or hard floor mop, but it certainly does a good job at maintaining the area, meaning you'll be doing deep cleans less often.Robot vacuums used to come across as more of a gimmick, but the E25 by eufy is a great example of how useful they can be.It is a very costly product, but if you're someone who prefers time-saving and convenience, then this product might be a perfect addition to your home.
