MiniBase Chime

Great service nice postman, chatty and pleasant.

Easy to set up using the Tapo app. Good range. Bell is suitably loud. Like. Recommended.

Connects to your home wi-fi network rather than the Eufy Homebase 3 network; once you understand this it is easy to set up and use. Works well although I needed a second one as I couldn’t hear it in all parts of the house.

Works as it should with my Eufy doorbell

Bought in conjunction with the Eufy video doorbell and works seemlessly. Easy to set up.

Firstly, there is a lot of misinformation on the internet about this mini chime. Some incorrect information also seems to have been directly from Eufy.I have the E340 doorbell which works great by itself.I then bought this mini chime as it has the capability of recording to a micro SD card.I used the Eufy app to install the chime to connect it to the doorbell and my internet. This was fairly easy to do. The last part of installation involved selecting the chime to record footage onto the micro SD card. The app instructed me to install a card then it asked me to format it. This was supposed to take around 5 minutes. After 10 minutes, progress was still on 0%. I then tried other cards with zero success. I then stopped the process and noticed on the home page that there was a window titled Eufyminichime (which is what I named my chime). I went into the Eufyminichime settings and managed to get storage changed so footage was recorded onto the mini chime. Footage was still not being stored to minichime, but the micro sd card had to be formatted by using the settings within the Eufy app. Then everything worked as advertised. The whole process should be a lot easier, but with perseverance, everything finally worked exactly as it should. Hope this helps.

Returned because the door bell wouldn't pair with 2 phones.

Works perfectly with door camera. Faffed about with existing door chime that doesn’t work. Opted for the plug in. Job sorted!

Added Mini Base chime to compliment Video Bell E340, easy install works great, there are 7 chimes, to be honest the default is the best one, Eufy need to work on the chimes !!Good build quality, loud, intact just as loud as the RING chime I had previously installed with A Ring door bell.

Works well - could do with other responses when someone presses bell easy to set up does need the app battery life isn’t long & it does need an SD card otherwise phone storage. There is a bit of a lag after someone rings bell but that may be due to slow WiFi - picture quality good but the wind blowing trees outside sets it off.

Bought this to store videos for my doorbell, works well for doing that. I’ve given it 4* because I do not understand why it cannot store videos AND be used a chime, you get one or the other seems silly but they’re cheap enough to buy a 2nd as a chime if you care

Bought this chime with the C31 doorbell thinking I could use the chime for the sd card location (instead of the doorbell). But it appears it does not work with this config. Hope this is fixed soon, otherwise I feel I’ve been misled!
