Very good

The camera itself is great. Picture quality is very good and it’s very responsive. It’s very easy to set up. The app can be slow sometimes but most of the time it is very good. The only gripe I have is that I can’t put the camera into privacy mode via Alexa or put the camera into privacy mode for a set amount of time. I can only turn on privacy mode in the app and sometimes I forget to turn it back off.

Amazing value camera

I now have five of these cameras, four outside and one in, easy to set up they provide quality pictures and have pan, tilt and zoom. Best used with a Homebase they can track and sound alarm. The privacy feature is especially useful indoors and all the features are controlled through the app

Fantastic bit of kit, really pleasantly surprised just how good it is especially for the price. Software and access for free is. Major selling point and plus.

Good camera for the price. Would prefer PoE for outside but great indoors.

I've used this to replace an older Eufy cam that we use to spy on our dog whilst we're out of the house. This one is slightly better quality at 1080p and allows us to pan/tilt compared to the old one. This one also has some substantial external antennas which will hopefully provide a more reliable stream. I'm not sure why they've used the same product number as their doorbell mind, that made googling a bit more confusing than it needed to be.Setup was a breeze in the Eufy app, it found the camera immediately and I was able to use it within minutes. Quality is okay when within a few meters but you do lose some clarity the further away given this is only 1080p. The lower quality does mean you're able to store a longer video history on the devices SD card (not provided) though. It does work fine without an SD card if you just want to stream but you're realistically going to want one in order to watch anything back. If you have a HomeBase you can record straight to that too, or even a normal NAS drive if you enable RTSP in the settings. The camera does surprisingly well in low light and the addition of the LED light means you can get full colour viewing at night where other cameras will only do black and white. The app is pretty good like most of the Eufy range, plenty of options from motion detection to privacy settings and area masks so no complaints there.Pan and tilt is smooth and there's even a tracking mode that tells the camera to track objects via pan/tilt. That worked okay but you obviously lose part of the view as the camera moves to track another object.Whilst this is apparently also an outdoor cam I'd personally say there are better options out there if that's what you're looking for. This one can only be powered by mains (not POE) and the 1080p quality does make faces a bit low quality at a distance so probably isn't suited as a security camera across the garden.£40.00 at the time of writing though which is pretty good value for a small camera with all these features.

Great camera to keep an eye on open plan settings

I was happy to add this to my growing set of Eufy cams. I have two outdoor PTZ cameras and wanted a PTZ indoors as well so I didn't have to position two static cameras for the same view.Since I already had the app set up, I literally just plugged this camera in, went to the app, went through the 'add' process and the camera was immediately detected and added. As with the other cameras there's some options for calibration, privacy, and the all important detection bits. I don't want detection, I just need the camera to be on so I can check it if I need to - the security of my home is handled by Ring so I use the detection of hallway cameras for that purpose. The quality is great and the view is very wide, so I almost don't even need the PTZ function. One thing I will say is that I've put the camera on a 2m tall cabinet and the tilt will not go down as much as I'd like, so there's a good majority of floor space not visible to the camera, but, that would never result in missing a person as the rooms are fully visible otherwise.I feel like Eufy were going for some kind of pet/character look with what they're doing with the antenna on this camera, giving the camera a "friendlier" look than the cyclindrical/cube ones that the market is saturated with. You can plug a microSD card into this camera, but I have the home base thing so I don't really need to do that. I would say a microSD card is not essential if you only plan on using live view.Latency is fine, but the home base is mainly the controlling factor for this. I did have some past trouble with Eufy devices and you really do need to be careful where you place everything, ensuring the connectivity is spot on, otherwise latency and (for battery/solar devices) power are no good. This is a decent camera in a big market. If you're already in the Eufy ecosystem, it's a good choice for easy expansion.

Very good quality

I installed this camera near my back door to keep an eye on the garden and the picture quality is very sharp. Eufy made the setup process quite straightforward through the app on my phone. The pan and tilt feature is something I used to check different angles of the patio while I was out at work. It offers good value for a security device that does not require a monthly subscription to see my footage. I found the night vision is clear enough to see exactly what is moving around near the bins. It feels like a very reliable bit of tech for home safety.

Cool design but no internal battery

The camera is very good quality, no sharp edges, durable and light with a cool robot toy design, it'll stand out in a front room but blends in quite well in a child's room with their toys. The camera is easy to use but does require a phone or tablet for the app and does not support windows and unless your phone has an option like my S25 plus where i can make it so apps only run when i click on it and closes out completely when i swipe it off, it'll constantly run in the background which i found to be a bit of battery drain on my Sony Xperia spare phone. However, the app running constantly isn't always a bad thing if you want to be notified of loud sounds. The connection through WIFI has a slight delay upon the initial connection but once connected on both phones, the connection was stable without any drop out and experienced no interreference by nearby devices. With the router in the front room and the furthers i used the camera was an upstairs back bedroom, the connection stayed strong through thick house walls and i would say it was about 20 feet away. The video quality is excellent, it did pixelate for the first minute after connecting but from then onwards, it was a sharp clear image with no graininess or blotchiness and adjusts exposure automatically to suit the environment. The night vision is much like the daylight vision, clear but i did notice when playing back the video on a larger screen than a phone that there was some red pixels but nothing serious. The pan and tilt tracking movement is flawless, able to move in increments and follow quick moving people, one of the main highlights of the camera though if this camera is in the corner, the field of view is so wide that is can cover the entire room not requiring tracking. The sound is clear without any hissing or crackling, even when the camera cant see someone, it can pick up voices from a distance, including outside of the room so from a security stand point, it covers a wide area. The only complaint i have is that when i ordered this, there was no description about it being mains powered, its good that its been updated but i probably wouldn't have bothered had i known because a security camera, in my opinion, is no good without a rechargeable internal battery backup in the event of a power cut and restricts where it can be positioned, without an extra long lead, its no good for outdoor use like in a tent or summer house. On the other hand, it can be ran off a power bank by USB Type-C without any issue but it adds extra bulk.

eufy Wired Cam C31

I’ve been using the eufy Wired Cam C31 in my lounge to keep an eye on my dogs while I’m out, and it’s been a total fantastic for my peace of mind. The 360° pan and tilt feature is incredible; I can remotely scan the entire room to see which sofa they’ve decided to hijack, and the AI pet detection is surprisingly smart it sends me a notification the second they start moving around or if there’s any barking. I also love the "crying detection" feature, which actually alerts me if one of them sounds distressed, something I haven’t seen on other cameras. The quality of the video is crystal clear, and the color night vision is a massive plus for checking on them during the night without having to leave every light in the house on. One of the best parts is that it’s completely subscription free; having all that 24/7 recording stored right on the device means I’m not paying a monthly fee just to see what my pups have been up to. In terms of value for money, you’re getting a professional-grade security camera with high-end AI features for a one-time cost. It’s a reliable, sturdy, and super-functional bit of kit that has made leaving the house much less stressful.

Cute and good quality 1080P video, easy to set up

Ok, this is a nice little camera that is cute (and feels a little freaky when it follows you about) and although only 1080P in resolution, I would prefer a high quality 1080P than a low quality 2k or 4k.It took less than a minute to setup in the app and the option to record on micro SD or NAS rather than subscribing is a great positive. The ai tracking is also impressive and you can customise what the camera tracks including pets, people and vehicles in the app very easily.I have tried to integrate it with Home assistant so it can monitor my garden office when Im not in but theres no official integration, which I think if there were, would massively increase the value of the camera.Overall its a good quality little video camera with some powerful features at a reasonable price. I do hope they make integrating it with Home Assistant easier but thats nit picking really as there are other ways to do that but you lose ability to configure it through HA.

Brilliant Eufy Pet or Child Cam

This power assisted Cam from Eufy arrives boxed with UK socket and instructions plus mounting bracket.Setting up the cam is a breeze and especially if you already have the Eufy Homebase installed in your setup otherwise there is an option for storing the images in the cloud. The cam itself is power via an accompanied USB-C cable as there is no rechargeable battery inside the unit. Also the mounting bracket can be used inside the home or outside as the cam is waterproof as well although I do question whether the cam is fully waterproof and so would advise placing it under the house soffit for protection or similar location. The Eufy app is faultless to use with everything you need for setting up the cam or adding it to your current setup. You can also simply scan the QRcode at the base of the cam which starts the install process through the EUFY software and within a few minutes it is setup and ready to use.Once installed the cam will appear in your device list and can then be used for motion activation or directing viewing through the camera. The camera image is very clear and supports IR for night time viewing plus it supports PTZ 360 degree viewing. There is 2 way audio and facial recognition within the software. As this is a pet cam as well the camera supports noise activation which is ideal if you keeping a pet inside the house or a child in a separate room as noise detection will then alert you through the app.Construction of the cam is made very well in white plastic and has a bar scan code on the base should you wish to import it by that method, either way Eufy make it simple and easy for any user in a robust solution. The outstanding part of the cam though is the current price which is outstanding for a weather proof PTZ cam with this many features that works so well.Overall this is a fabulous and easy to use and setup cam for your Eufy environment running on Wifi 2.4 and 5GHz and works perfectly.

I've used a fair few eufy products and I am always impressed with the build, quality and features. This little camera is no exception. As I've got other eufy items I already have the app downloaded and set up, therefore it was easy to get this connected too.It is mains powered but has a long wire so I've had no issues placing it where I want. It tilts and pans well and overall I think it has a cute, attractive design. It looks like a little robot!

Reliable indoor camera with smooth tracking and clear image

I set this up in a main room and the pan and tilt function works smoothly through the app. The 360 coverage makes a difference compared to fixed cameras, especially when checking different angles remotely. The image quality is clear enough for general monitoring, and night mode performs well in low light.Positives• Smooth pan and tilt movement• Clear video quality day and night• Wide coverage area• Easy app setupNegatives• Requires stable WiFi• App can take a second to respondOverall, this is a strong home monitoring option with good flexibility, just slightly limited by app responsiveness.

The camera works well and is responsive and clear. Only downside is the recognition, it thinks moving headlights and tail lights are human.

Small camera

Wanted this to look for animals in the back garden and spots when the fox walks by. cheap and effective, good range on the WiFi as well

Works great

This camera is about 40 feet away from my home base 3 which is located in the middle of my house, the camera is outside and works great.
The camera is also recording 24/7

Wired C31

What a great camera, used this to replace an older ritual and have to say well impressed. Value for money is top of the list but the features of this cam are also great. I give this a big thumbs up and have already advised more than one friend to take a look.

Fantastic

Excellent camera

I've used a fair few eufy products and I am always impressed with the build, quality and features. This little camera is no exception. As I've got other eufy items I already have the app downloaded and set up, therefore it was easy to get this connected too.It is mains powered but has a long wire so I've had no issues placing it where I want. It can be used with a sd card for storage with no extras or costs. It works exceptionally well. The video quality is great even at night.
