A Long-Term Customer's Review of Eufy Security!

If you're considering a home security system, look no further than Eufy Security. As a customer for several years, their service—from initial advice to long-term support—has been absolutely brilliant.Exceptional Service from the StartWhen I first considered a CCTV system, I reached out for pre-sales advice. The enthusiasm and detailed response I received gave me complete confidence that I would be supported long after the purchase.First-Class Support During ExpansionMore recently, after moving house, I needed to significantly expand my setup to include additional cameras, sensors, and a full alarm system. The support I received over multiple phone calls was first class. The staff took the time to genuinely listen to my specific needs and recommend the best options, always explaining why those recommendations made the most sense for me.Top-Notch After-Sales ResolutionJust last week, when a door sensor unexpectedly failed, their support team proved their worth again. My initial call was answered quickly. The support person listened calmly, quickly understood the issue, and escalated it as a priority. The service was magnificent, leading to a resolution within just a few days. The Final VerdictFrom their excellent app, wide range of products (CCTV, sensors, motion detectors, alarm pad, sirens), to their consistently magnificent support, Eufy has proven to be a truly reliable partner in home security.I highly recommend Eufy Security Systems if you're looking for a comprehensive alarm and CCTV solution backed by top-notch sales and support!

Highly recommend

It all works really well. I feel safer and although I can’t afford a monitored system regardless of whether I am in or out I appreciate the notifications if anyone comes on to my property. I intend adding to/upgrading the cameras too at some point. I’m a huge Eufy fan. There are reviews on YouTube to help you make your mind up. Having a face for radio, I’m not too inclined to record my own

Good system - take note on charging the keypad though.

This is a pretty decent system, the motion sensors are small and light and so quite easy to install without being intrusive. The door/window sensors are a bit clunky though. The main reason I came here though was to share something relating to the keypad - it's picky about what charges it, I find my Anker chargers won't charge it. In fairness to Eufy they do say to use a 1A plug, but with most chargers delivering more than 1A it's a bit of an odd constraint. Watch the LED if it flickers red-blue quickly then find another charger. Steady red when charging is good. But other than that, it's been a good system for us so far. I like the compact nature of it and once you've learned the somewhat unintuitiveness of the Eufy app it's a pretty powerful setup. Would be nice if the other devices could be charged via USB though rather than having batteries.

Bought this as a starter pack we will add cameras lights and a doorbell at a later date. Fairly simple to set up and install And to connect to wi-fi.The manual is very small and the App has little instructions but we figured it out after a few attempts.Keypad beeps when in use and the Homebase lets you know when alarm is set and deactivated. Some add ons will need a different home base so might have 2 in the house. But these are small enough so don’t think that will bother us too much.I would recommend this unit for ease of use and simple add on’s.

Good features, very easy to instal but no external siren is a surprise as the indoor unit can’t be heard outside. Eufy have brought out an external siren but it’s never in stock. They need to sort this out quickly as without it it’s pretty useless.

Dave is now an essential part of the family and sets off to work at 0900hrs each morning for about 90minutes. Took him a couple of days to learn the layout of the ground floor but now goes about his daily routine with an air of cockiness; gliding effortlessly from wooden floor to carpet to flagstone. Followed up with a quick Flash mop and emptied every eve I’m not sure how we coped pre this amazing addition. Granted the little devil gets caught up in shoe laces or trailing wires but providing you keep an eye on these you’ll be fine. Just buy one. You can thank me later

Daylight Clarity and Night-time InsightMy Eufy Doorbell S330 is like having a keen-eyed detective at the front door during the day. It captures crystal-clear footage, making every visitor look ready for their close-up. As night falls, it transforms into a nocturnal guardian, providing monochrome night vision that's as clear as a North Sea morning. It's like having a personal CCTV, only with better manners.Homebase: The No-Fuss Memory BankThe Homebase feature is a real winner, storing all the footage without the faff of cloud subscriptions. It's like having your own digital archive of 'who's been at the door' – a modern-day visitor log, if you will. It's secure, straightforward, and doesn't ask for a penny more, making it as reliable as your favourite local chippy.A Wee Delay in Doorstep ChatsUsing the Eufy Doorbell S330, I've noticed it's a bit like chatting with someone who's always a tad slow on the uptake. There's a brief (1 or 2) seconds delay when I'm trying to have a natter with the postie or the odd door-to-door salesman, but it's still adequate to get the job done.Battery Life: The Long-Distance RunnerOn the bright side, the battery's more enduring than a North East winter. Lasting about 10 to 12 weeks on our quiet terraced street, it's doing better than most of my New Year's resolutions. It's nice not having to constantly worry about giving it a top-up, especially since our street isn't exactly Piccadilly Circus.Overall: Handy, with a Dash of Patience NeededOverall, this Eufy doorbell's a bit like a trusty old car – reliable with the odd quirk. It keeps a watchful eye over our doorstep, even if it takes its sweet time to let me know who's there. The battery life is a definite plus, making it a steadfast companion for our not-so-busy terraced street. It's not quite instant like a snap of the fingers, but it's dependable enough to give me peace of mind, which in my book, is worth a small wait.

day one and loving it so fare. it's picked up the Christmas tree bits ok and copped well with the rug. although it is a thin rug. be warned it will pick up small Lego bits and wires so tidy them away first! impressed that it just maps the room itself, u don't have to do anything, just plug and play.will update when I've moved it on to the thick rugs!

Really easy to install with sticky strips (screw-mounts included), easy to set up using the base & WiFi. Managed to sort the whole 5 sensor system in under 15 minutes (2 door sensors & 1 motion). Reliably triggers when doors open or sensor goes off, weekly logs, remote phone control over the system.Only downside is the app, which isn't great for customising; default is to alert every open/close/trigger... It's possible to customise this to some extent, but no integration with IFTTT, for instance. Better control with the subscription apparently, but if you don't mind ongoing costs, I'd look to Ring or Nest.

Having costed the fitting of a hard wired camera, and the cost of this solar edition, I found that the latter was vastly cheaper and had more options.
The camera was delivered and fitted in about 30 minutes and it is excellent. Drill two holes, screw on base and screw on camera - simple.
The quality of picture is sensational and any video clip is easily saved to Photos for future reference.
Added to this the siren and lights can be activated at any time.
Brilliant

I watched the You Tube review videos, and decided that the base-level Eufy 11S Max would suit my needs just fine, as well as being far more affordable than the ones that use GPS tracking to learn about your house so they know what to do in the master bedroom next time. You can YT the review videos using the name.

Prep the room: get all the wires off the ground, and I put small items of furniture on couch / bed. (I went round and used wire ties to lift a lot of wires off the floor. Which of course I should have done anyway.)

There are two basic modes:

a) you put the cleaner in a room, set it off, close the door and get on with something else somewhere else

b) you let it do the vacuuming, and go round with the damp cloth wiping down surfaces and skirting boards

Admit it, did you wipe down the skirting boards when you vacuumed? Thought so.

That's the productivity bit: you can do something else while it does the chore.

It can sense when it's on carpet and turns the vacuuming up a notch, and it can sense it's about to run out of landing, stop and turnaround. It doesn't fall downstairs.

Don't be control-freaky, it wanders about and eventually covers everywhere it can reach. You do have to get into the corners, but you probably missed those when vacuuming and had to do them specially. It has an 'edges' mode where it will go round the walls.

Empty the tray at the end of each session.

Admire your new cleaner digs.

Well made alarm, good information on unit. Only problem is there are no cables supplied for power or WiFi connection. Nor any description of type or sizes which could be a problem it you get the wrong ones.

I needed an alarm that was easy to fit with no wiring and this fits the bill completely. Its internet connected so I get notifications when alarm is armed and off, doors opened, windows opened. Great for when Im away from home. It is a great modular system. I may add a camera next year.

Good product for day to day cleaning. Works well on hard floor compared to carpet . Hair does get entangled in the brushes but they can be removed easily for cleaning. Will recommend

I'm new to the world of Eufy, and totally loving their security devices. This doorbell chime and WiFi plug are just genius. Also acts as a signal extender for other Eufy products.

Recent update to alexa means it not alerts you on your mobile but also via the alexa devices. Plus you can create a routine on the trigger.
